Rustler is an action adventure game that is somewhat reminiscent of the first two-dimensional installments of the famous Grand Theft Auto series by Rockstar Games - with the difference that it is set in medieval realities (suffice it to say that the developers themselves call their work Grand Theft Horse). The Warsaw-based company Jutsu Games known from 911 Operator is responsible for the development and publication of this title.The player takes on the role of a medieval criminal who tries to earn a living in a feudal society and at the same time not to lose his head under an executioner's ax. It is worth noting that the game is in fact a parody - we will not find reliably recreated medieval realities here. However, there is no shortage of humor and references to pop culture.In Rustler we observe the action from above - from the so-called top-down or isometric perspective (depending on the camera position at the moment). By controlling our hero, we explore the open world, perform tasks (we accept them from other criminals, as well as the nobility, merchants or corrupt guards) and commit various types of crimes - we steal horses and money or attack merchants on the roads.We often have to fight, using both ranged weapons (bows, crossbows) and melee weapons (swords, axes, spears, and even ... pitchforks). The fighting style requires the player's dexterity and quick reactions. The production of Jutsu Games also allows you to ride a horse and drive several vehicles (carriages).
