Bedfont - NOBreath v2 Nitric Oxide FeNO Monitor

Bedfont - NOBreath v2 Nitric Oxide FeNO Monitor

Product Properties Made in the UK, The Bedfont® NObreath® is a highly accurate, simple to use handheld monitor that facilitates the measurement of Fractional exhaled Nitric Oxide (FeNO) in the breath. Using proven technology with over 10 years of clinical use, the monitor is designed to detect eosinophilic airway inflammation which allows healthcare professionals to make better, more informed clinical decisions for patients displaying symptoms of airway inflammation and provide the appropriate treatment and ongoing care. The test is simple to perform, non-invasive and requires very little respiratory effort making it suitable for use on children as well as adults. The NObreath is ergonomically designed and easy to handle. It's lightweight and portable and made with Steritouch anti-bacterial coating for infection control. It is powered by an internal battery and comes with a USB charging docking station that also allows for PC-connectivity and comes with free FeNO chart software. The NObreath uses a specially designed mouthpiece that is inserted at the bottom of the device. These single-patient mouthpieces (sold separately) can be used multiple times in any one session without affecting repeatability. Mouthpieces are constructed using a bacterial viral filter that further mitigates the risk of cross-infection between patients. Operating the NObreath is incredibly quick and simple. The highly intuitive icon-based interface is easily navigable. Selecting the adult or child icon from the home screen will immediately initiate the test for that profile. The on-screen graphical instructions will guide the user when to inhale and when to exhale into the mouthpiece. During a test, an incentive will display, guiding the user in maintaining a consistent flow rate which is essential for a good quality test. The NObreath will show test quality feedback once a test has been completed which is confirmed with either a green tick or a red cross to ensure user compliance. The result is displayed immediately after the test as a single value in parts per billion. The result can be cross-referenced with the FeNO interpretation chart that’s provided. The user has the option to store the result on the NObreath’s internal memory. FeNO Chart PC Software is included as standard with the NObreath FeNO monitor as a digital download. The software allows the user to create, store and manage patient data, look at trends, generate reports and synchronise data between the device and PC. It also allows for live testing when the NObreath monitor is connected directly to the PC via USB cable. NObreath comes with a 2-year warranty and has no test limitations on the sensor before needing replacing. Combined with low maintenance and running costs, the NObreath is an essential diagnostic tool that is both widely used and economically priced without compromising on quality and accuracy. Key Features Simple to use. ndd Easy on-PC Spirometer Hospital package (Spirette only)

ndd Easy on-PC Spirometer Hospital package (Spirette only)

EasyOn-PC is a lightweight spirometer that connects directly into a PC or laptop for real-time spirometry diagnostics. The Easy on-PC comes complete with diagnostic spirometry software. The handheld sensor utilises the ndd TrueFlow technology to measure the flow of air in and out of the patients’ lungs. Guaranteed for life, this technology eliminates problems associated with traditional methods of flow measurement and helps make the ndd products extraordinarily fast, reliable, accurate and error free. There are no moving parts, no codes to enter and no screens to catch sputum. The ultrasonic flow measurement is independent of gas composition, pressure, temperature, and humidity thus eliminating errors due to these variables. The software is free of any licencing with any updates provided free of charge for life. This means the device can be used across multiple PC’s with the software installed. The software can be fully integrated into patient record systems such as EMIS and SystmOne*. Spirometry software and future updates are free The EasyOn-PC software can be updated free of charge for life; this can be downloaded from the ndd website. The software can be installed on as many computers as necessary without the need for user licences or dongles. The database can also be stored onto a shared network drive which can be accessed by any computer installed with EasyOn-PC software, allowing results to be viewed in a different location. PC tablet option available The EasyOn-PC is available as a package with optional Windows touch screen tablet PC, pre-installed with EasyOn-PC software. Using the lightweight tablet and EasyOn-PC together makes this the perfect portable spirometry solution. The results can be printed or exported to PDF and other formats. Latest GLI 2012 predicted values The GLI equations are the first global multi-ethnic reference equations for spirometry that span all-ages. Data from 74,187 healthy non-smokers (57.1% females) aged 3-95 years were used to derive the equations using modern statistical methods. This includes the development of age dependent lower limits of normal. Challenge test routine with Methacoline and Mannitol protocols Challenge testing protocols are pre-set in the software for Methacoline including Chai et al, ATS Short and ATS Long. Mannitol protocol is also included. The dosage to be administered is displayed in a table on screen and a timer will countdown to show when spirometry needs to be performed. The software displays the % drop from the previous step and also from the baseline. A message is displayed when a positive result has been achieved and the test is complete. Powerful trend facility Single or multiple parameters can be shown as actual values and percent predicted. This allows the user to track a patient’s lung function over time. Incentive screens The software has three child incentives, the balloon, the monkey and the birthday cake to encourage children to perform correctly. The incentives can be displayed in a large format on screen whilst still being able to view the flow/volume and volume/time graphs in real-time.

A&D Medical TM-2657P Waiting Room Automatic Blood Pressure Monitor

Product Properties The TM-2657P is the latest model in the range of A&D freestanding fully automatic blood pressure monitors. Designed for ‘high foot fall’ areas to save time and money Return on Investment (ROI) normally within 6 months Can be integrated into Electronic Patient Record solution (EPR) User-friendly small footprint & barrier-free design Simple to use, one-touch measurement “Torque Controlled Belt drive Method” (TCBM) Antibacterial arm cuff cover (included as standard)/reduced risk of cross infection Network connectivity options using Bluetooth or RS-232 Reliable high speed printer with easy paper replacement Irregular Heart Beat (IHB) indicator BHS A/A Clinically Validated A&D first launched the Waiting Room monitor over 10 years ago, and it is widely used in pharmacies, hospitals and GP surgeries – in fact, it is estimated that it is used in over 1 in every 7 GP surgeries across the UK! The reason for the popularity of the TM-2657P is because it enables patients to ‘self-screen’ and take their own blood pressure readings (and weight using a connected Medical Scale). This saves valuable clinical staff time, and therefore cost. It also allows clinical staff to see more patients, and to focus on the patients that most need help. Where a practice has over 3,500 patients a waiting room monitor should be considered to help optimise patient screening. Once installed, the return on investment is often less than 6 months. Building on the reputation of the previous models, the TM-2657P provides fast and accurate measurement, with its compact profile, it is extremely easy to use, and is very durable. The TM-2657P also offers a diverse range of connectivity options – helping to expand market potential in various locations and areas of everyday life such as hospitals, medical clinics, health check-ups, corporate wellness, pharmacy services, and fitness centres.
