Othonna capensis 'Ruby Necklace' - 6 cm pot

This is a beautiful trailing plant that has bright green leaves which quickly turn purple with green stems, it freely branches and propagates easily. Yellow flowers appear towards the ends of the trailing green stems and look quite striking against the purple and green foliage. Ruby Necklace will flower throughout spring and summer - A great addition to a succulent summer bowl or hanging basket. You will receive one or two stems that will quickly branch and grow in the spring and summer months to fill a pot. The display plants shown are 2 years growth, and the 9cm pot a seasons growth.

Aloe plicatilis - AKA Kumara plicatilis

A rare and quite statuesque succulent plant that grows in the shape of a candelabra, it is commonly known as the "Fan Aloe". It is slow growing from seed. Recently undergone a name change to "Kumara pilicatilus". Has tall typical orange Aloe flowers in spring. In habitat Aloe pilcatilus will form a 5m tree, but in 5 years you can expect on average 25cm of growth and it may have started to branch, but this does not usually begin to happen until at least 5 years old. You will receive a plant that is at least 2 years old and about 12cm high.

Echeveria Pulvinata - Delicate Fury Frosting

This Echeveria is has a wonderful covering of fine hairs that gives it a shiny frosty appearance, almost like it is lit up by magic. The flowers appear in early spring and are bright orange/red and feature at the ends of a medium length flower spike. The plant offsets slowly to form a loose bush shape and loloks spectacular in spring when all is orange flowers are out. Like most Echeverias the flowers are long lasting and certainly one our first Echeverias to flower and brighten the collection. Our plants come with a BCSS guide on how to pot up your plants and care for them as they establish themselves. This is a great introduction to growing a wide variety of Echeverias and a boost to any succulent collection. We have been growing plants for over 40 years and were finalists at RHS Chelsea Flower Show last year 2022 with the ' Aeonium Jubilee ' bred to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. Grown in a 9 cm pots your plant will be shipped bare rooted in the summer months, ready for potting up into your own gritty compost and free draining pots. In winter we will ship in pots to ensure the minimal root disturbance in these colder dormant months.
