Gymnocalycium pflanzii - Green Cactus From Paraguay
The Gymnocalycium has a green smooth body with ridged spines that are white/grey in colour. This plant grows fairly small with heads 12-15cm across, eventually forming a clump reaching up to 15cm tall. The flowers are large, white and sometimes have a hint of pink in the centre that appear in the summer months from a young age. This Cactus has a large distribution in Paraguay, Bolivia and Argentina.
