How to Use  Dry Granule Application: Rootballed and containerised: 1. Sprinkle the granules evenly, at the recommended dosage, directly into the prepared planting hole or pit. 2. Place the plant directly onto the granules so that the rootzone comes into contact with the granules. For larger plants over 30L or 12-14 girth: Apply during backfill against the side wall of the root zone to ensure contacts with feeder roots. Root Deep Application - Gel Solution: Mix: 1 sachet with 15-20L of water (for 2.5L tub) 1 sachet with 30-40L of water (for 5L tub) 2 sachets with 60-80L of water (for 10L tub) The desired consistency will depend on the root density of the plant species used. The appearance of the solution, when mixed, should be similar to wallpaper paste. For more dense or fibrous roots the solution should be thinner. Add the Root Grow granules when the desired consistency is met and stir well. We recommend dipping 25 whips per dip to ensure even coverage. Use mixed gel dip within 2 days and do not allow to freeze. Weight 2.5 / 4.99 / 10.2 kg

Lagerstroemia Indica (Crape Myrtle) – Shrub

Lagerstroemia Indica (Crape Myrtle) – Shrub

Lagerstroemia Indica are deciduous, have a rapid growth rate, and are often seen in their multi-stemmed form. They will grow in almost any kind of soil: sand, loam or clay, although it prefers moist, well-drained soil and full sunlight. This plant is easily transplanted and is drought and alkaline tolerant, but it does have pest and disease problems. It is even possible to grow them in containers if they are watered and fertilized properly.  They will grow in partial shade, however, the best flowering will occur on plants that receive more than 6 hours of direct sun. This plant blooms from June until fall, and to promote flower bloom, it is best to trim off seed pods. Fall color is not very impressive because the tree is tropical and loses it's leaves early. This plant can be grown as a street tree with ground cover underneath, as an espalier, or as a specimen. Purple Roses – Half Standard

Purple Roses – Half Standard

A very fragrant and very rare tea rose. Its blooms have one of the deepest purples on the market. The flowers are large in size and rich in velvety colour. They appear from summer to autumn and contrast beautifully against the plant’s blueish-green leaves and stems. Sold as a “Half Standard” size, this means the rose will have a bare stem/trunk of roughly 50 – 80cm between the ground and the first branches. From there it will grow outwards into an dense bush-shape. Roses are grown for their breathtaking beauty. It is genuinely poetic and artistic to watch a rosebud slowly open and bloom in your own garden. And with blooms that come in every colour of the rainbow, you’re certain to find a rose that matches your garden’s style and palette. Photinia x Fraseri Red Robin - Quarter Standard

Photinia x Fraseri Red Robin - Quarter Standard

Photinia x Fraseri Red Robin, also known as Photinia Serrulata Red Robin or occasionally the Christmas Berry, is a group of evergreen shrubs grown specifically for glossy, dark green adult foliage, white flowers and brilliant red tinted young leaves; in the spring, they unfold to give a stunning display. The best known of the photinias is Photinia Red Robin, which is often planted as a specimen shrub or as a dense, evergreen hedge. A Christmas Berry Red Robin puts on a show all year round, with white springtime flowers and new leaves that start out as a vibrant red, before darkening to a glossy green as they age. These bright colours are popular with wildlife, but due to its loose branch structure, birds are unlikely to choose the Red Robin as a nesting location (which is ironic). Christmas Berry Red Robins are an excellent choice for creating interesting hedges and borders. Product Dimensions Girth 6-8 cm: 10 litre pot, clear trunk – 40-50 cm (1.3-1.6 ft), crown – 40-50 cm (1.3-1.6 ft); Girth 8-10 cm: 15 litre pot, clear trunk – 40-50 cm (1.3-1.6 ft), crown – 50-60 cm (1.6-2.0 ft); Latin Name: Photinia x Fraseri Red Robin also known as Photinia Serrulata Red Robin English Name: Christmas Berry Red Robin, Photinia Red Robin, Red Robin, Fraser Photinia Species: Rosaceae Genus: Photinia Foliage Type: Evergreen. Blue Arrow Juniper / Virginia Juniper / Rocky Mountain (Juniperus Scopulorum)

Blue Arrow Juniper / Virginia Juniper / Rocky Mountain (Juniperus Scopulorum)

Works well as a standalone specimen plant to give your garden texture and colour. The Blue Arrow Juniper is famous for its aquamarine-coloured foliage which grows very densely to create a bold pointed-oval. Junipers in general are very useful in the garden for their solid colours and for their ability to grow in highly difficult conditions. They grow slower than other conifers as well as to shorter maximum heights. The Blue Arrow’s dynamic upward point and cool blue leaves will create an exciting modern garden. All conifers are known for their hardiness and resilience against the elements. We often think of them being heavily covered with snow during the winter, but they can look equally as bold and impressive against a bright blue summer sky. Conifers get their name from the "cones" that they produce – which come in all shapes and sizes. Conifer leaves are evergreen and will either be needle-shaped or scale-like. Black Bamboo (Bambusa Phyllostachys Nigra)

Black Bamboo (Bambusa Phyllostachys Nigra)

One of the most elegant and distinctive types of bamboo. Its black canes can reach incredible heights. As you can see in some of the photos here on GardenPlantsOnline, Black Bamboo’s tall, slim canes are often ‘scorched’ with highlights of golden-brown. New shoots begin with the same bright green as the plant’s leaves, they eventually turn jet black after two years. This mix of contrasting colours creates a very bold and striking plant – undoubtedly this is what makes it the most desirable bamboo plant we sell. Bamboo is one of the world’s fastest growing plant-types. Traditionally from Asia, its hardiness means it can actually be grown very easily in Britain – visitors to your garden will be surprised and impressed to see it there. As a forest plant, it appreciates a steady supply of moisture and compost. And as an enthusiastic grower, you should give Bamboo room to expand, we suggest placing infant plants about 100cm apart. Citrus Lime (Lime Trees / Limetta) - Quarter Standard

Citrus Lime (Lime Trees / Limetta) - Quarter Standard

Unlike most citrus plants, the Lime tree is not a hardy plant. They are capable of surviving brief periods below 0C, though may lose leaves, flowers and fruit as a result. Even though it has a H6 rating, it is better to bare the 0C temperature in mind and shelter them below this figure. Lime trees are best grown in large containers and moved indoors to a bright position before the first frosts in Autumn. Lime trees are perhaps the most exciting of all ornamental citrus trees to grow because of their rarity in Britain. Lime trees are evergreens that produce green fruits containing sour, acidic pulp, which are usually smaller and sourer than lemons. Limes are grown all year round and used to accent the flavours of foods and beverages. Lime juice is a good source of vitamin C though lemons have a higher concentration. Lime trees need plenty of sun and watering, whether when indoors or outdoors so make sure they are positioned in a place which receives sun all day long. The lime tree tolerates all soil types but prefers moist soil. Becareful of potential diseases and pests when growing this true.
