It can be used on all surfaces and is quick-drying. It also intensifies colours when applied over paints, inks or printed papers. It's similar to PVA but has the advantage that it is stronger and because it contains a sealant it won't yellow or crack. Matte finish. Mod Podge is perfect for all manner of decoupage and craft projects, and includes simple instructions on the back of the pot. It is usually stored at room temperature and is applied with brush or sponge applicator. It's easy to clean up while wet with soap and water. To eliminate tackiness, simply apply a clear acrylic sealer over cured Mod Podge. When using as a sealer, simply apply thin coats one at a time, leaving time to dry for 15-20 minutes between coats. For a quicker finish, apply a smooth, moderate covering of Mod Podge. To create a textured finish you can apply a thick coat imitating artist's brush strokes or stipple with a sponge. You can also use Mod Podge as a puzzle saver, enabling you to keep your creations for years to come.
