Apollo Series 65 BR Heat Detector - 55000-127APO

Apollo Series 65 BR Heat Detector - 55000-127APOThe Series 65 Heat Detector monitors temperature by using a dual thermistor network which provides a voltage output proportional to the external air temperature. There are 12 heat detectors in the Series 65 range designed to suit a wide variety of operating conditions. Apollo Series 65 smoke heat detector range are a direct replacement for the earlier Series 60 devices. Series 65 detectors have a wide voltage range 9-33 volt DC and can be integrated on to security systems when used with the 12 volt relay base 45681-508.The heat detector operates by using a matched pair of thermistors to sense heat. One thermistor is exposed to the ambient temperature the other is sealed. In normal conditions the two thermistors register similar temperatures but on the development of a fire the temperature recorded by the exposed thermistor will increase rapidly resulting in an imbalance of the thermistors and causing the detector to change to the alarm state.A1R BR and CR are Rate of Rise detectors designed to detect a fire as the temperature increases but they also have a fixed upper limit at which the detector will go into alarm if the rate of temperature increase has been too slow to trigger the detector earlier.Key Features Can be used for applications where smoke detectors are unsuitableIdeal for environments that are dirty or smoky under natural conditionsWide operating voltageFlashing LED and magnet operated test switch option

Apollo AlarmSense A1R Heat Detector Standard 55000-190APO

Apollo AlarmSense A1R Heat Detector Standard 55000-190APO

Apollo AlarmSense A1R Heat Detector Standard 55000-190APOThere are two heat detectors in the AlarmSense range designed to suit a wide variety of operating conditions. A static heat detector CS which responds only when a fixed temperature has been reached and a rate-of-rise detector A1R which has a fixed upper limit but in addition measures the rate of increase in temperature.AlarmSense is a range of conventional fire detection and alarm products designed to be connected to the same pair of supply wires making installation quicker and less expensive. AlarmSense has been developed to make the design and installation of a fire detection and alarm system easier and more economic for small to medium-sized buildings. The range also allows an existing system to be extended or modified if necessary. This flexibility makes AlarmSense an excellent choice for use in HMOs House in Multiple Occupation. As you would expect from Apollo AlarmSense incorporates features that help reduce false alarms and patented technology to ensure the integrity of a system. The range also includes products such as beacons to help meet the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act DDA.Brand FeaturesFlexibleReliableCost-effectiveCompliant with BS 5839Easy to installEasy to extendProduct InformationThere are two heat detectors in the AlarmSense range designed to suit a wide variety of operating conditions.
