The textile paint is water-based and suitable for light-and dark-coloured fabrics made of e.g. cotton, viscose, denim and other materials containing up to 20% synthetic fibres. We recommend that you always wash your fabric before starting to paint. Stir the paint well. When you have finished painting with textile paints, leave to dry for up to six hours before fixing with an iron. Do not iron directly onto your project. Lay a thin cloth over it. When dry, the paint is colourfast and washable. Turn your project inside-out. It is washable at up to 40°C.

A wider elastic sits well at the waist and you can, for example, focus on the waist piece and let it play an active role in your design. It can be difficult to decide which elastic is right for your project. For some, it's a matter of trial and error - for others, there's plenty of inspiration to be found both here and elsewhere online. Or when you study the clothes you already love to wear. More information about the elastic bandThis 50 mm wide elastic is great for the drawstring in the waistband of your trousers and skirts. We love it for our yoga pants, for example: the elastic makes sure they stay in place no matter what exercise we do (even when we're just walking around the house on a Saturday watering flowers). This elastic is made from a mix of polyester and rubber; it is crocheted and relatively firm in quality. It can be washed at 40° and cannot be tumble dried.

Freudenberg’s iron-on canvas is a lightweight, soft and fusible interfacing made of 100 % cotton. The interfacing is 90 cm wide. Fix the interfacing WITHOUT steam. Just press for about 8-10 seconds at medium iron temperature (2 dots). Move the iron. Press firmly and continue until you have fused the adhesive on your sewing project. We recommend you to do a fuse test on a small piece of fabric before you start. Leave the pattern piece to cool before you start sewing.
