Wide basic elastic for clothes and DIY-projects Elastic should be in every sewing kit. It can give your garment the finishing touch and, most importantly, ensure that the garment fits comfortably and stays in place.   This is a standard elastic waistband ideal for the drawstring in the waistband of your trousers, shorts or skirts. The elastic holds the garment in place in the waistband, so it stays just where it should.  It has a very simple and raw look; most often we use it as a hidden elastic band, but it also works well as an elastic band on a pair of night trousers, for example. The elastic can be washed at 40° and must not be tumble dried. The elastic is crocheted and has a width of 25 mm - perfect for a drawstring waistband or as the slightly wide end of the sleeve.The pack contains 5-metre elastic band.

Then this is a good choice. It is four millimetres wide; crochet quality, soft and comfortable. The elasticity is good and it lasts wash after wash. Quite frankly, it’s a really good basic elastic band for many purposes. A standard narrow elastic bandYou can use this elastic for all sorts of projects. Use it as a panty lace, for the neckline of a dress or top, and as a sleeve edge for beautiful balloon sleeves. It's also your go-to elastic when you need an elastic for festive masks for Shrove Tuesday and Halloween. We prefer to use the elastic so that it is hidden in a drawstring. The elastic is soft and durable, and can be washed at 60° and tumble-dried at low heat.

We offer ten lovely, bright colours that your children can mix to create their favourite shades. The wide-necked jar gives easy access to small hands. Children tend to find the texture agreable. Alternatively, you can pour the paint onto a plate or into a bowl, allowing you more control. The paint is of an excellent quality; a small amount goes a long way. Use this finger paint on both light or dark fabrics, ideally cotton containing no more than 20% synthetic fibres. After use, leave your project to dry for a minimum of six hours, before heat-fixing it with an iron. Cover your project, i.e. with a tea towel or another cloth, to protect it during fixation. Also available: Small starter kits of MUCKI finger paint, containing a number of basic colours, glitters, and metallic colours. The finger paints are suitable for children as young as two years of age.

It's a composite fabric which is smooth, dense, soft, warm, and difficult to wrinkle. It's also known under the name “Ponte de Roma”. Some Practicalities This fabric consists of 70% viscose, 27% polyester, and 3% elastane. You choose the length you need for your sewing project – the width is 145 cm. Please note that the fabric shrinks 13% when washed. When working with jersey, we recommend using a jersey needle, characterized by its medium point – also known as ball point. The needle easily penetrates the knitted quality and prevents stitches and threads from running. For this type of jersey, we recommend jersey needles in size 80.
