You choose the length you need for your DIY project – the width is 150 cm.  When working with jersey, we recommend using a jersey needle, which is characterised by having a medium point – also known as ball point. The needle easily penetrates the knitted quality and prevents stitches and threads from running. For this type of jersey, we recommend jersey needles in size 70/80.

Also, avoid using steam as it causes the texture to change shape. Practical information about this satin This satin is made from 100% polyester and comes in several beautiful colours. You buy it by the metre, so you get exactly the length you need for your projects.The fabric is 140 cm wide and shrinks about 1% in the wash. Wash at 40° - hang dry and iron on low heat. TIP: As satin has a very smooth surface, it slides easily. Therefore, we recommend that you always cut in one layer at a time and use good quality, sharp fabric scissors. This 100% polyester micro satin stands out for its beautiful, extra soft and natural drape, perfect for those who sew satin tops and dresses and want to utilise the soft drape in their designs. The satin has the familiar glossy front and matt back and is available in many colour nuances. Satin for your next creative ideaMicro Satin is suitable for both clothes and bags. Maybe you want to sew a simple and elegant party dress or create beautiful draping with a cool matching clutch? The only limit is your imagination. The fabric is 145 cm wide and shrinks about 3% in the wash. It can be washed at 40°, always hang dry and iron at low heat. TIP: Satin weaves are not very forgiving when it comes to needle marks. A good way to avoid damage is to start with a fresh needle, as a damaged needle is more likely to stick to the fabric and leave marks. Also, use extra fine pins in the seam allowance to minimise holes. 4 mm elastic band - narrow and classicDo you need a versatile elastic band? You know - a bit like the one you know from the sewing box in your childhood home? Then this is a good choice. It is four millimetres wide; crochet quality, soft and comfortable. The elasticity is good and it lasts wash after wash. Quite frankly, it’s a really good basic elastic band for many purposes. A standard narrow elastic bandYou can use this elastic for all sorts of projects. Use it as a panty lace, for the neckline of a dress or top, and as a sleeve edge for beautiful balloon sleeves. It's also your go-to elastic when you need an elastic for festive masks for Shrove Tuesday and Halloween. We prefer to use the elastic so that it is hidden in a drawstring. The elastic is soft and durable, and can be washed at 60° and tumble-dried at low heat.

Brushed, soft and comfortableWool is a firm and warm material that is ideal for jackets, coats and ponchos. In other words, the kind of outerwear you wear for everyday life and parties, and not so much for those days when you're building caves in the garden.  This wool has a brushed surface, making it extra soft and pleasant to the touch. At the same time, it's compactly woven and strong, so you get a fabric that works well for all kinds of coats and jackets for young and old alike. Use it for classic coats with a collar and pretty buttons or for a more personalized version with a zipper, oversized collar or fewer details - it's entirely up to you.Wool in interior designWe know that the next one is a bit impractical because the wool is not washable. But it's just so soft that we have to say that it's also great for a wool blanket on the sofa. For example, with a nice coarse stitching all the way around - warm, cosy and perfect for cool summer evenings outside and sofa evenings inside.  Practical InformationThis fabric is made up of 80% wool and 20% polyamide. It is 145 cm wide and you can choose the number of meters you need for your project. The wool is not washable, but can be dry cleaned.Remember to use the right needles - we recommend using universal needles when sewing with this wool, and you may want to go up in stitch length for a more finished look.

Kidsilk Erle is a luxury brushed mohair yarn, which produces beautifully airy and soft garments. Use this yarn either on its own or combined with other yarn qualities. Held single or double, to give a patterned effect together with a spun wool yarn or with alpaca. Remember that the given knitting tension is only a guide and you can work Kidsilk Erle with smaller or larger needles depending on the results you want.
