The CE Marked Forklift Safety Access Cage Premium provides an ideal solution for accessing operations at heightened hard to access places safely. The product has the capacity to hold two persons at a time using a forklift. This Man cage has strong protective sides all around the platform and is welded with mesh to allow clear vision and safe handling. The platform is made up of anti-slip Durbar sheets to provide grip while standing on the cage. The base ensures that the persons are safe while being lifted or transported. The height of the cage when the top gate is opened is around 2160mm which covers a standing person completely and gives ample protection from back side. The fork guides are having enough space for any forklift widths and can be locked before lifting to ensure steady movement. The side door can be opened and locked from inside and the top gates are fitted with gas struts to enable effective handling of the doors. The back side of the cage is fitted with finger safe mesh to prevent any outside interference while handling the tools. The design and manufacturing of the safety cage is of premium British standards by allowing customer satisfaction and keeping in mind the different industrial environment. Its mild steel construction provides a rigid and robust platform to hold almost anything and ensuring the security of the personnel on it. The whole frame is manufactured from 50 x 50 mm Square Hollow Section, 30 x 30 mm Square Hollow Section, superior Grade S275JR Mild Steel, supplied by our quality approved, reputable local UK steel stockholders. The base deck is made up of 4.5mm Durbar sheet which can bear the maximum load of the goods. The product is ready-to-use on delivery and needs no assembly on-site as the manufactured cage complies with different geometric characteristics (such as flatness, straightness, position, etc). The fittings like hinges, spring bolts, and chains are all of premium stainless-steel material. The frames can also be fitted with extra lanyard attachment points which allows complete protection of the personnel if things go wrong. The stillage is suited for almost any industrial premises like Construction, Warehouse logistics, Retail, Factory outlets etc. It is highly advised that prior to lifting, the load of the stillage should be measured and not exceed 75 percent of the rated capacity (critical lift) of the lifting truck.
