Salvia Blue Hill is a compact little perennial with deciduous mid-green colour foliage. Its thought provoking slender lipped blooms have a majestic appearance due to their royal purple-blue colour. The intense flurry of colours bloom from Summer through to Autumn and set off all the low spots in your garden, making the perfect under planter beneath your taller shrubs or roses. With little maintenance your Blue Hill will complete a range of garden looks such as; City and Courtyard gardens, Mediterranean designs, Flower borders or container gardens, Wildlife and Country cottage gardens or even Industrial Modern designs will stand in contrast with this standalone beauty! Salvia Blue Hill is drought tolerant once established and so a perfect perennial to pop into those places that will not receive much water. In addition to striking a look, this gorgeous Salvia is known as being one of the best pollinator attractors to an abundance of Wildlife in decline yet, is resistant to many diseases and are also resistant to deer and rabbits. Salvia Blue Hill is very easy to care for and requires very little maintenance. A few things that keep it happy are sunny sheltered spots in the garden with moist but well drained soil, it’s an easy balance to find, usually in your borders in those gaps we don’t know what to do with.  Once you pop it into its home, it will throw out plumes of colour all Summer long. Once the flowers fade, a quick chop, and it will flower again and again all Summer.

Our Salvia ‘Bumble sky’ is the most versatile showy plant in our range. It will set off a country garden, a wildlife garden or even a modern window box, it is an absolute delight to fit into any garden theme. Our vivid ‘Bumble Sky’ has a strong unwrinkled bed of green foliage with an intensely rich pale blue colour flower. ‘Bumble Sky’ provides a burst of colour in pots, containers and even window boxes but this Salvia will set off your borders and will establish without need for much maintenance at all. Salvia ‘Bumble Sky’ is a perennial so will come back each year and is drought tolerant so a perfect little flower to pop in those places your hosepipe won’t quite reach. As well as being versatile ‘Bumble Sky’ brings a variety of pollinators, as it is the one of the best pollinator attractors you can see why it is one of our most popular Salvia. Salvia ‘Bumble Sky’ is resistant to a lot of diseases and even resistant to deer and rabbits. Although this Salvia is very easy to care for and requires very little maintenance. Scabiosa ‘Butterfly Blue’ is a haven of refuge for wildlife, a beautifully powerful perennial that is a bee-magnet and a landing pad for all pollinating insects! A compact, mound forming semi-evergreen perennial which has a larger than average pincushion blooms. The delicate informal shape of blooms born on lance shaped, grey-green leaves look absolutely fantastic against a worn brick wall or a backdrop of gravel to set off a stunning country garden aesthetic.  The vibrant yet elegant mauve-blue lends itself to many a garden design! Our head grower selected the Scabiosa ‘Butterfly Blue’ for it’s versatility and he felt that it makes an impactful ‘filler’ plant among beds and borders that is easy to maintain. This versatile yet hardy perennial is informal in shape and its compact form lends itself to a country cottage garden or rockery perfectly, as well as suiting urban gardens, prairie gardens, pots, containers or wildflower gardens. This dwarf pincushion flower is ideal for under planting in your borders beneath taller shrubs or roses.  Once in its ideal location, it will throw out its butterfly loving blooms all Summer long. It’s blooms also hold seeds for birds, so it really does encourage a wealth of activity in your garden! When the flowers look spent, you can offer it a quick deadhead, and it will show again between June and the first frost in around September.  Our Scabiosa is nectar-rich, brings wildlife and requires very low maintenance so it is sure to win your heart in no time!
