Lexicomm ViLX-OSJ Jack Point on a Single Gang PlateLexicomm roaming fire telephones are used in conjunction with jack points primarily for use by the fire service in a high rise building to provide clear communications between the control point and the fire fighters as radio systems may not work.Jack points are typically located on each level of a building stairwell so several levels on the same stairwell can be connected to one circuit.The Lexicomm EVCS system allows up to 5 telephones connected to the same line to have a party Line conversation with the master station at the same time.Jack points are compatible with all Lexicomm Master Stations and System Expander Panels. The touch-screen layout has four buttons allowing quick access to the main functions and permanently displaying the number of current calls alarms and faults.Emergency Assist Alarm calls can be acknowledged by pressing the Icon on screen as required by BS8300 and will return to alarm if not reset within two minutes. The ViLX-TMS has inbuilt networking allowing it to form one of the 64 panels on a Lexicomm network installation allowing a total of 512 outstations to be accommodated. Each panel can be a master station or ViLX-EX8 network expander.
