Cotton canvas is a closely woven, durable and hard-wearing fabric, which you can use for projects requiring a robust surface.
The fabric is made of 100% cotton, has a width of 140 cm, and can be ordered by the metre. Expect it to shrink 7% when washed.
As cotton canvas is a heavy-duty material, it's crucial to use the correct needle and thread. We recommend either a jeans needle or a universal needle in size 90, combined with a strong thread. Increasing the stitch length can enhance the appearance of your project.
