Our acrylic coated woven oilcloth fabrics have a matte surface very similar to regular fabric cloth. They add a touch of elegance and luxury to any home décor. Always use the tablecloth with the acrylic coated side facing upwards. You can easily wipe of foods and beverages of the oilcloth, however, be aware of types like ketchup, sauces, oil dressings, lemonade and the like can leave stains. Always wipe of immediately with a damp cloth, wrung in warm water if necessary, with a little detergent. It prolongs the service life. For stubborn stains, you can wash the tablecloth at 30 degrees in the washing machine, but do not use the spin cycle and tumble dryer. We recommend ironing the tablecloth after each wash to activate the water and dirt-repelling treatment. Remember to iron the tablecloth on the back. Note: This type of oilcloth is not suitable for damp outdoor environments. Remember to always bring the tablecloth inside after outdoor use. Can be discoloured by the sun. Note! It shrinks approx. 1% in the wash. TIP: Sharp scissors are a must when working with satin. The fabric can be difficult to cut because it's slippery and also offers a lot of resistance. Use a good quality pair of fabric scissors or, if you want to make it even easier, a sharp roller knife/roller cutter. Light, colourful and a beautiful drape! Viscose is a popular fabric for many fashion designs. It's a light and soft material with good breathability, while also being comfortable to wear.  The beautiful drape is especially pronounced in tops, dresses, and shirts, where even with the simplest designs, you achieve a stylish look. The design is up to you: Does the shirt need a small collar? The top a boat neck? Or are you into ruched details?  That being said, viscose is also well-suited for light trousers. We prefer them with a bit of width in the legs, so you once again benefit from the lovely drape.  Choose from many stunning colours.  What is viscose? Viscose has been used for clothing for over 100 years. The fabric consists of processed and regenerated cellulose, for example from wood pulp or cotton waste. It resembles natural fibres like cotton and silk.  Some practicalities The fabric is 100% viscose, is 130 cm wide, and you can of course choose the length you need. Wash at 40°C, iron at medium heat, and allow to air dry. Expect 5% shrinkage after washing.  Remember to use the right needles – we recommend using a universal needle or a microtex needle in size 70.

Freudenberg’s iron-on canvas is a lightweight, soft and fusible interfacing made of 100 % cotton. The interfacing is 90 cm wide. Fix the interfacing WITHOUT steam. Just press for about 8-10 seconds at medium iron temperature (2 dots). Move the iron. Press firmly and continue until you have fused the adhesive on your sewing project. We recommend you to do a fuse test on a small piece of fabric before you start. Leave the pattern piece to cool before you start sewing. Iron-on canvas is ideal for use with light and medium-weight shirt fabrics and similar fabrics made of cotton. Use a lightweight interfacing to stabilise and stiffen small sections, such as collars, pockets and bodices on blouses, jackets, etc.

It's the kind you use when the elastic is part of your design - when you want the elastic to be seen and create an effect! The elastic is made of polyester and rubber; it has a good firm elasticity that lasts. Here's where you can use the elastic bandWe love it in the waistband of gorgeous skirts - from pencil skirts to sundresses - the elastic just adds a lovely effect at the waist and is comfortable at the same time. You can rest assured that your skirt will stay right where it's supposed to, no matter how wild you dance. We've also grown quite fond of it in yoga trousers; the wide waistband is really comfortable and ensures that the trousers fit well without being tight. In general, we can just say: Use the elastic on projects where you want a wide visible elastic edge - whether it's on a cool skirt or a pair of cool baggy trousers - it's entirely up to you and your imagination. The elastic can be washed at 40° and must not be tumble dried.

We recommend jersey for a plethora of different designs. From trousers and skirts to tops and dresses – and this jersey is no exception. You can use it for all the classic designs, where its substantial quality stands out and gives your design the right touch with an elegant fall. How about sewing a tailored dress or a wrap dress with a tie? What is Courtelle? Courtelle was developed by the company Courtaulds PLC in England in the mid-20th century. It's a composite fabric which is smooth, dense, soft, warm, and difficult to wrinkle. It's also known under the name “Ponte de Roma”. Some Practicalities This fabric consists of 70% viscose, 27% polyester, and 3% elastane. You choose the length you need for your sewing project – the width is 145 cm. Please note that the fabric shrinks 13% when washed. When working with jersey, we recommend using a jersey needle, characterized by its medium point – also known as ball point. The needle easily penetrates the knitted quality and prevents stitches and threads from running. For this type of jersey, we recommend jersey needles in size 80.
