Guild Wars 2 is a continuation of the MMO saga started in 2005. The American company ArenaNet, working closely with NCSoft, specializing in this type of games, is responsible for the creation of all parts and numerous additions. The creators decided to keep some of the characteristic elements of the first game, i.e. an extensive plot, systems that diversify the fun, strong support for PvP gameplay (player versus player), although they gave up the universe consisting almost entirely of instances in favor of a fully permanent and accessible world. The game takes place 250 years after the events of Eye of the North . The world of the Guild Wars universe has changed and progressed, largely due to the returning ancient dragons. Due to their appearance, a large part of the areas and cities known from the first part were destroyed, and the human race itself was in serious trouble. Similar problems are experienced by other already known factions (Asura, Norn and Charr). While playing, we can learn about different aspects of the history of each side and the new technology, including firearms used by the Charr.
