Mobil 1 0W-20 satisfies the requirements of hybrid applications for which it is highly recommended. Mobil 1 0W-20 has been field tested in a Toyota Prius taxi vehicle operated day-in day-out up to 160,000 km. Periodical oil condition monitoring and engine inspections demonstrated that Mobil 1 0W-20 presents an excellent resistance to thermal oxidation and shearing, leading to excellent protection of the engine against wear and deposit build-up despite the strenuous operating conditions and the accumulation of numerous stop-and-go events.
