There are two push-buttons one for each zone which simulate a fire by connecting the two cable cores when the button is pressed. Similarly there are two switches which under normal conditions connect the end-of-line resistor across the cable for each zone. However when the switch is changed this create an open circuit which in turn raises a fault on the controller. Stratos-Micra will be available with an optional Piped Exhaust type Docking Station. This is primarily intended to allow the Stratos-Micra detector to sample from areas which may be at different air pressure to the detector location. Kidde Airsense ADELCU-2 Alarmline II Digital LHD EN54-28 Dual Zone Location Control UnitThe ADELCU-2 digital location control unit is a dual zone module for monitoring up to two zones of AlarmLine II Digital EN Linear Heat Detection Cable. If an overheat or fire situation triggers either zone of the digital cable the unit automatically calculates and displays the distance along the cable in feet and metres to the alarm point.The two zones can operate independently of each other or in interlock mode. A separate alarm and normally conducting fault output are provided for each zone. The unit is intended to be installed between the AlarmLine II digital EN linear heat detection cable and a conventional or addressable fire alarm control panel. It has power fault and alarm indicators as well as free outputs for fault and alarm corresponding to each zone.
