Gameplay The players take on the role of a young immigrant who comes to Atlantic City in the early 1920s. He begins his career modestly - by recruiting a few gang members who will help him in carrying out his first tasks. His ambitions, however, are much greater and boil down to subjugating the entire city. The game is therefore about developing a criminal empire and taking over the territories of other mafia families, including individual districts of the coastal city.
