The Flex Power Tools GE 5 + TB-L Giraffe Sander is fitted with electronic controls: controlled constant speed, soft start, overload protection and speed selection with an adjuster wheel. The gimbal-mounted sanding head provides high flexibility and optimum adjustment for sanding walls and ceilings. It offers effective dust extraction from between the brush ring and sanding pad that prevents clogging of the abrasive and promotes a dust free environment. Fitted with an ergonomically shaped guide tube made from aluminium and a dust proof on/off switch. It is a very handy, lightweight machine that provides optimum ease of operation and comfortable, ergonomic working conditions providing optimum balance between the motor and sanding head. The reliable force transmission and high flexibility come from the flexible drive shaft (FLEX Technology). This design minimises the principle weight on the giraffe head and increases optimum handling. Optional connection of the FLEX safety vacuum cleaners to the FLEX Clip System on the guide tube.
