Brunnera 'Jack Frost' - 1 Litre Pot
Jack Frost lives up to its name with particularly attractive heart-shaped foliage with a very strong variegation of a beautiful silver but also has the added benefit of sending up clouds of tiny, pale blue flowers in Spring which drift above the mound of interesting foliage, which forms dense and lush mounds.
This versatile plant is a clump forming deciduous perennial which slowly creeps over time, but it holds interest and remains an attractive focal point throughout the entire growing season, but it is advisable to prune off any leaves that are scorched by the sun.
This Brunnera is easily grown in organically rich, moist and well-drained soil, however dry soil is to be avoided as a cool site in partial or complete shade is much preferred and your plant with reward this by flourishing.
A perfect plant to use on banks and sloped ground due their fibrous root system but equally happy in borders as under planting to shrubs and roses.
