3M Versaflo Intrinsically Safe Battery for use with 3M Versaflo Powered Air Turbo TR-800

3M™ Versaflo™ Battery TR-830 is our lithium-ion battery pack designed for use with the 3M™ Versaflo™ TR-800 Series Powered Air Turbo. It’s intrinsically safe, attaching mechanically to the TR-802E Powered Air Turbo (with tool) to help prevent accidental battery removal and spark risk during use (per EN 60079-11). The TR-803 battery is ATEX Certified, charges quickly and features a charge level indicator for quick visual reference. Quick charging and intrinsically safe 3M™ Versaflo™ Battery TR-830 lithium-ion battery pack is created for 3M™ Versaflo™ TR-800 Powered Air Turbo. This battery is engineered for use in potentially explosive atmospheres and feature yellow bumpers to help absorb impacts. The battery reaches 90 % charge in approximately 3.5 hours and features a charge level indicator for easy visual reference. The TR-838 Battery Attachment Tool (included) fastens the battery mechanically to the Powered Air Turbo to help prevent removal and reduce spark risk during use per EN 60079-11. With a new TR-830 Intrinsically Safe Battery and filter, the TR-800 Powered Air Turbo has an expected run time of 6 to 10 hours depending on the system configuration used. Powered Air Turbo runtime will vary based on battery age, filter loading, filter or cartridge selection, and user selected air flow settings. The battery can provide approximately 750 full charge/discharge cycle equivalents while maintaining 80 % of its original capacity, which is twice the cycle life of standard non-IS 3M™ Versaflo™ Battery TR-630 and TR-632.

The grip diameter on the tool is 2-3/4” with two additional grip sizes available (diameters of 2-1/2” and 3” sold separately). Reduced vibration: The rubber grip absorbs and reduces vibration and features 3M™ Gripping Material for a stronger grip and more control with less effort.
