The girl appears to be very polite. He obediently obeys teachers' instructions, learns well, and never causes trouble. In reality, however, there are repressed emotions beneath this calm shell. Lilli soon begins to see little friendly gnomes covering with paint those parts of her life that she doesn't like. At the start of the game's plot, it is unclear whether these helpful creatures are real or merely the product of a child's tormented mind. Despite such a plot, Edna & Harvey: Harvey's New Eyes is a classic point'n'click adventure game. We spend most of the fun on carefully searching locations, collecting items, conducting conversations and solving puzzles. The game offers two-dimensional graphics in the crazy and often caricatured style known from the first game. The visual setting does not impress with the level of detail, but on the other hand, it fits the story perfectly and highlights its highly twisted nature.

Edna & Harvey: The Breakout is an old-fashioned point'n'click adventure game, released by the German company Daedalic Entertainment (including Ankh: Battle of the Gods and The Whispered World ). The production is distinguished above all by an extremely original script and the use of very classic, old-school technical solutions, thanks to which it can bring to mind such items as Day of the Tentacle or The Secret of Monkey Island . Story The main character of the game is the title Edna, a peculiar young woman who wakes up one morning locked in a mental hospital, remembering practically nothing. However, she is fully convinced that she is here completely wrong and must get out of here as soon as possible. After all, the girl considers herself a completely normal person, although the player may have some doubts about it, considering her shabby, stuffed rabbit mascot Harvey, with whom she quite often discusses various topics. Together, they also decide to escape from this problematic place. As it turns out quickly, getting out of the madhouse is not such a simple matter, which is why our original pair of heroes is forced to ask for intellectual help from the player in this endeavor. Considering the nature of the location where Edna and Harvey are currently staying, it is easy to conclude that the characters encountered on our way are, to put it mildly, unusual personalities (e.g. a man dressed in a bee costume or a pair of Siamese twins). Nevertheless, we should find a common language with the inhabitants of the psychiatrist, because only by joint efforts we have a chance to achieve the desired goal. Fortunately, the passage of time and contacts with other people enable Edna to slowly regain her memory, which has a very positive effect on her mental abilities. As we can see, it is difficult to accuse the game's creators of lack of creativity or re-creativity when it comes to the plot. The gameplay is based on several foundations. The main one is the exploration of the world divided into several different lands. One of them is the extensive city of Kalevala - the capital of mankind. The second important place is the Northlands, i.e. the northern lands taken over by the evil witch Lowhee, whose army is moving towards the aforementioned metropolis.
