Act of War: Direct Action is a fairly innovative strategy game, the production of which is the responsibility of a small French development studio Eugen Systems. It is also worth noting that Dale Brown, the author of the best-selling techno-thrillers (including Air Battle Force ) , is responsible for the plot of the game .The single-player campaign leads the player through several huge cities - San Francisco, London, Tokyo, Moscow, Washington, and also to the regions of Egypt. It is worth adding that each of these places is relatively faithfully recreated, because all the most important buildings (museums, theaters or other public facilities) are on the map. The missions mainly cover the fight against terrorist groups. In addition to the singleplayer, an extensive multiplayer has also been prepared, up to eight people can meet on one board. In this case, players can choose any side of the conflict, including terrorists.
