Memento Mori is a point & click adventure game with an extensive detective story. Czech studio Centauri Production is responsible for its preparation, with such productions as Gooka: The Mystery of Janatris and Fairy Tale: About Father Frost, Ivan and Nastya .StoryThe plot focuses on the theft of three priceless paintings located in the Hermitage (a museum in the city of St. Petersburg). The main characters are Larisa Ivanova Svetlova (Lara) - a Russian agent of Interpol, who resides in France on a daily basis, and Maksim Durand - a forger of works of art, who works with the militia for forgiveness. Both will often contact each other by phone and e-mail, and their activities are coordinated by Ostankowicz, a police specialist in crimes related to works of art. Traces of theft are associated, among others, with a Portuguese painter and a mysterious Finnish order, reminiscent of a secret organization guided by the principles of Ars moriendi.GameplayDuring the game, we will visit selected fragments of the Hermitage, the library and the pub in St. Petersburg, and we will also have the opportunity to see Lisbon and Lyon. An important thing when playing is choosing answers to questions from NPCs and using the appropriate devices. All this has an impact on the end of the game - we can watch a few different, depending on the choices made and actions.
