Mintis Clementine Gin 70cl

Mintis Clementine Gin 70cl

Mintis Clementine Gin "Slow down, relax and let the better part of your day beGin!" - Mintis Gin Mintis believes that life is too short for an ordinary gin, so they set out with the desire to create something extraordinary. Pancalieri mint (recoginised the world over as being one of the world's best) grows local to the distillery. Along with hand-picked Italian Juniper, these are the core botanicals in the range of Mintis Gins - from which they also gets their name. The distillery itself (Torino Distillati) is located in Moncalieri in Italy, and is run by Carlo Vergnano, his wife Piera, and daughter Rita. A true family operation. Their master distiller, Denis Muni, has over 20 years experience in creating reknowned drinks. To ensure the aromatic and fresh flavours found in their gins are preserved, they utilise a vacuum stil. This uses a lower temperature to extract the essential oils. The unique flavours of juicy Italian Clementines, hand-picked Italian juniper, a hint of Pancalieri mint, and other select local botanicals combine to create the Clementine Gin This is truly a fruity sensation. Aromas of ripe Clementine greet you, along with minty freshness and a touch of juniper. Read more about Mintis Perfect Serve This adds a deliciously fruity citrus edge to a gin & tonic, and our go-to tonic for Mintis is The Artisan Drinks Co's London Tonic. For a delicious twist to a classic cocktail, try a Clementine Negroni. Mix together 30ml of gin, 30ml of Campari, and 30ml of Cinzano Rosso and serve in a rocks glass with large ice cubes. Garnish with a clementine wedge and a sprig of fresh mint.

Lonewolf Bramble and Raspberry Gin 70cl

Lonewolf Bramble and Raspberry Gin 70cl

Lonewolf Bramble and Raspberry Gin Whilst they may be better known for their world class beer, Brewdog have also had great success since launching their range of spirits. With their gins they felt the majority of gins had become mainstream. In their words: "Dainty botanicals and floral nonsense are the norm, and they’re masking all kinds of sins." They start by creating their own Abstrakt Vodka which is used as the base spirit for their gins. They do this to ensure the quality of the spirit from start to finish. They then go big and bold with their flavours (using up to 5 times the amount of juniper typical in craft gins) crafting their gin in the world’s first triple bubble copper-pot still. This is done at their distillery in Aberdeenshire (in North Scotland).  Good to know: Every bottle of gin created is carbon neutral Their gins are created with big, bold flavours using their bespoke copper pot stills. Like the wolf from which they took inspiration with their gins, each is wildly different. Made in Scotland, they use a unique blend of botanicals to create some something uniquely different in each bottle.  In their Bramble and Raspberry gin, Lonewolf have created a gin which is positively bursting with notes of freshly harvested berries. This is truly a feast for the taste buds, with ripe and juicy fruit flavours dancing over your tongue. Whilst their signature Tuscan Juniper remains strong, the rich jammy raspberries perfectly blend creating something unique. More from Brewdog Perfect Serve For a delicious Gin & Tonic take a large glass and fill with ice. Add 50ml of the gin and pour over 150 - 200ml of your chosen tonic (we like Franklin & Sons Light Tonic for this). Stir gently and garnish with a wedge of lime and some raspberries (fresh or dried).

Blind Tiger Imperial Secrets Gin Gift Pack

Blind Tiger Imperial Secrets Gin Gift Pack

Blind Tiger Imperial Secrets Gin Gift Pack This pack contains: 1 x Blind Tiger Imperial Secrets Gin 50cl 2 x Blind Tiger glasses 1 x Gift Box Blind Tiger Imperial Secrets Gin Whilst it gives a striking look to the bottle, there is a reason behind the name of Blind Tiger. Another name for a speakeasy, A blind tiger was a hidden bar which served alcohol during the period of prohibition. The door of the place would have the picture of a blind tiger or a blind pig, so those in the know would know where to go! Blind Tiger's Imperial Secrets gin is made in small batches in a "concealed" distillery in the west of Belgium, they macerate and distill the botanicals together before adding seperately distilled teas afterwards. And it is these teas which make this gin something unique and different. Three different Imperial black teas, Indian harmutty Assam tea, Imperial pu-erh himalaya cashmere from the Himalayas and Chinese Yunan matured tea are meticulously distilled to extract their flavours, before being blended and added to the gin. This is a smooth and lucious gin which also takes notes from a botanical blend which includes juniper berries, coriander seeds, grains of paradise, angelica and iris root, lemon peel, bitter almonds and lemon grass. All impart something special to the gin. This is a very well balanced gin overall, between spicy and floral. A smooth gin, its initial nose opens with a little spice, juniper and almond. The taste has mild hints of citrus, coriander and lemongrass, which is backed up by the black tea. Floral notes also come through, particularly from the black teas, and these are what linger on the palate at the end of the drink. Differently delicious! Read more about Blind Tiger Perfect Serve This gins smooth and balanced complexity is best enjoyed neat, over ice or paired with a clean and smooth tonic. For this we recommend Three-Cents Tonic Water. In a glass, add 50ml of gin to 150ml of tonic, and garnish with a slice of lemon. The full flavour also works well with Fentimans Ginger Ale. Swap out the tonic for the ale for an added ginger kick to the drink.

Nginious! Vermouth Cask Finish Gin 50cl

Nginious! Vermouth Cask Finish Gin 50cl

Nginious! Vermouth Cask Finish Gin The story of nginious! started in 2014, when Iris and Oliver Ullrich launched the brand in Switzerland. They quickly gained an international reputation as a brand which created new and innovative flavours as well as honest gins. Since then, they have expanded into liqueurs and other drinks. To create nginious! Vermouth Cask Finished Gin, their own Swiss Blended Gin is used as the base. This is then allowed to mature in former vermouth casks for 5 months.  As this uses the Swiss Blend Gin as a base, the blend of 18 different botanicals remains the same; Juniper, barberry, laurel fruit, citrus and sweet orange peel, fresh grapefruit, cardamom, hay flower, clover blossoms, bee balm, verbena, hyssop, chamomile, black currant leaves, orris root, carline thistle root, galangal, liquorice. The maturation in the vermouth casks enhances the classic herbal profile found in the original swiss blend. Floral herbal notes join with the citrus from the botanicals. These are then delicately enhanced with notes of bitter orange and oriental spices from the cask. More from Nginious! Perfect Serve We liked this enjoyed pure over ice, and slowly sipped. However it also works in a more classic gin & tonic. Take a large glass filled with ice and add 50ml of the gin. Gently pour over 150 - 200ml of tonic (we like a neutral tonic such as Three Cents Tonic Water) and stir gently. Garnish with a slice or two or orange.
