Mates White Rum Mates started its journey here in The Netherlands in 2019 when Bart and two of his Mates officially registered Mates Spirits and blended their first 3000 bottles of Mates Gold Rum. Following the sucess of their original rum, the Mates range has expanded in 2023 with the launch of Mates White Rum and Mates XO Rum. Mates White Rum is a unique blend of different types of rum from Barbados, the Dominican Republic and Jamaica that have been blended with a 3-year-old rum from Trinidad. Rebel Straight Bourbon Whiskey Founded in 1849 by William Larue Weller, Rebel have been defying trends since the very beginning. At that time the everyone was creating bourbon using a rye mashbill. They decided to do things differently, and pioneered wheat-based bourbon.  Now, over 170 years later, they continue to defy trends - whilst also winning awards with their wheated recipe.   Their Rebel Straight Bourbon Whiskey is the 'original mischief-maker'. It's still made today (in Bardstown, Kentucky) using their time-honoured recipe. On the nose this ia a bourbon which is full of sweet honey, butter and raisins. The flavour is big and well rounded, which directly follows on from the aroma. Honey, butter and rich dark fruits come through. The finish is long and warm, and introduces a touch of spice right at the end. More from Rebel Perfect Serve This is deliciously smooth, whether you prefer it neat, on the rocks, or mixed. This Soda Water is Fever-Tree's simplest product. They use natural spring water (with a low mineral content) and then carbonate it with a high level of carbonation with lots of very fine bubbles (a higher than usual level of carbonation), they then add just the right amount of bicarbonate of soda, which is used to add a minerality that enhances naturally occuring flavours in the premium spirits it's paired with. Wildjac Damson & Raspberry Gin Based in the Wyre Forest, to the South West of Birmingham in the UK, Wildjac strive to produce a range of sustainable and eco-friendly premium botanical spirits. To this end, they hand-craft their drinks using only 100% natural ingredients which (where possible) they source locally. For their distinctly coloured Damson & Raspberry Gin, Wildjac have taken inspiration from the many fresh fruits availabile close to their distillery. They use Angelica, orange, organic autumn bliss raspberries and organic shropshire prune damsons from the Augernik Fruit Farm, juniper and coriander. Ron Esclavo Gran Reserva Rum (Mini) 5cl

Ron Esclavo Gran Reserva Rum The Ron Esclavo series of rums contains four delicate rums from the Dominican Republic, all of which are tropically aged. Each has been created with passion, using the fresh juices extracted from hand-cut sugar cane. The aging is then completed in American and French oak barrels.  They have been created as an homage to the slaves who were instrumental in the history of sugar cane and rum. (Esclavo is even the Spanish word for slave).  Crafted by Alcoholes Finos Dominicanos, the largest alcohol producer in the Dominican Republic, they use only sugar cane grown in the Dominican Republic on their own plantations. In this way they ensure they give back to the community, securing work for locals and ensuring the perfect quality. The first rum in this seris is their Gran Reserva. With its beautiful golden-brown colour, it has an aroma of ripe apricots, and a slight tart note which develops into warming brown sugar, milk chocolate and maple syrup.  On the palate this has a pleasant sweetness with hints of vanilla. Hayman's Old Tom Gin (Mini) 5cl

Hayman's Old Tom Gin In 1863 when James Burrough, opened a small distillery in Chelsea, London. He experimented with a number of gin recipes, giving them names such as Burrough’s, Olde Chelsey, Beefeater and Black Cat. It was James who pioneered the London Dry gin which is known and loved today (at that time, London's gin of choice was Old Tom). It was this which led to the development of the Beefeater Gin brand.... but it also spurred the Hayman's gin brand. The current Master Distiller of Hayman's (Christopher Hayman) is the great grandson of James Burrough. Whilst not common in modern times, with their Old Tom gin Hayman's pay homage to the prevalent gin which was enjoyed when their family started creating gin. The generous quantities of botanicals which Hayman's use in their family recipe ensure a bold citrus and juniper pine character. Smooth and delicate it has a subtle but defining sweetness (as is common in Old Tom gins). More from Hayman's Perfect Serve Old Tom gin's, and Hayman's in particular work very well in cocktails such as the Martinez, Tom Collins and Ramos Gin Fizz. However, it also works particularly well in a more classic Gin & Tonic. We recommend enjoying this with a Lemon mixer, as this cuts through the sweetness and compliments the citrus notes in the gin. Take a large glass filled with ice and add 50ml of the gin. Gently pour over 150ml of tonic and stor gently. Garnish with a slice of lemon.

East Imperial Tonic Water 150ml

East Imperial Tonic Water A bold, distinctive taste is what greets you with this tonic. It was developed and crafted to recreate the century old traditions involved with creating a Long Pink Gin (Simply add two to four dashes of Angostura Bitters to a long G&T.) which was made famous at the Pegu Club in Rangoon, Burma (this was originally called East Imperial Burma Tonic).  The crafting of this contemporary take on a historic tonic gives it one of the highest quinine levels in a tonic in the market (so if you're not a fan of the bitterness in quinine, this isnt the tonic for you!). However, this isnt all this tonic is about. It is further rounded out with top notes of Thai lemongrass and delicious citrus notes from the Manao Lime to perfectly balance a few dashes of bitters should these be wanted! It has a distinct, yet mild warm and spiciness with a subtle hint of cinnamon on the palate. The finish though is decidedly fresh, delicate, and full of zest from the Manao Lime. More from East Imperial Perfect Serve Whilst this is technically a neutral tonic, there is a flavouring to it (and quite delicious to drink on its own with a slice of lime). The Manao lime in particular gives a citrus edge. This therefore works well with a lot of classic, dry gins. As such, there are some gins which work particularly well.  In all cases, serve over plenty of ice, add the gin first, and then gently pour the tonic over to preserve the bubbles!

They work with only the best naturally sourced ingredients from around the world and no artificial flavourings or sweeteners to create mixers that do justice to the world's finest spirits. A blend of three gingers (from Nigeria, Cochin and the Ivory Coast) is used to create this award-winning Ginger Beer. It's not overly sweetened, so the ginger really comes through leaving a warmth at the back of the throat. Read more about Fever-Tree Perfect Serve This is a perfect ginger beer with which to create a Dark & Stormy cocktail. Take 60ml of rum (we like this with Bacardi Carta Negra, but any dark rum will do), and add 100ml of ginger beer in a large glass filled with ice. Squeeze a wedge of lime into the glass, then add as a garnish. Another classic is the Moscow Mule. For this, in a large glass filled with ice, and add 45ml of vodka (we love this with Riga Black Vodka, but any neutral vodka is fine). Add 10ml of Rose's Lime and 120ml of ginger beer. Stir gently, and garnish with a lime slice. However, its also really warming and pleasantly refreshing drunk on its own, when you feel like a bit of a kick in the tastebuds.

Chivas Regal 12 Year Whisky (Mini) 5cl

Chivas Regal 12 Years Whisky Produced by Chivas Brothers (which is owned by Pernod Ricard) at the Strathisla distillery in Keith, Moray in Speyside (Scotland, UK). This distillery was founded in 1786, and is the oldest continuously operating Highland distillery. Their 12 Years Aged Whisky is a blended Scotch Whisky, and the market-leader in the 12 year and over aged whisky category in Europe and Asia Pacific. It's made of a blend of malt and grain scotch whiskies and is their signature blend. It was also the first in the family of Chivas whiskies to have been released after prohibition. Known and loved flavours which are iconic in the Speyside region are at the heart of this whisky. Wild heather, sweet honey and crisp orchard fruits are the result of years of experience from the master blenders. This taste has been maintained since the pioneers of blended Scotch whisky (the founders of Chivas Regal, John and James Chivas) first started blending. Within the blend itself you will find the finest mail and grain whiskies. Strathisla single malt, Strathclyde single grain and yet more are blended to create a whisky known for its smoothness. A variety of different casks are also sourced for the maturation of the 12-year-old whiskies, again - ensuring the quality. On the nose this whisky gives the signature aromas, and is particularly aromatic. Wild herbs, heather, honey and orchard fruits all greet the nose. On the palate, this is rich, round and deliciously creamy. Honey and ripe pears come through, and are also joined by vanilla, hazelnuts and even butterscotch. The finish lingers and is particularly rich. As Chivas say.... 'Because blended is better, in life and in Scotch'. Read more about Chivas Regal Perfect Serve Whilst this can be enjoyed neat, a longer option can be really refreshing. For a classic Scotch & Soda, take a highball glass and add 50ml of the Chivas. Add 100ml of Fever-Tree Soda Water, and then carefully fill the glass with ice. Top up the glass with soda, and give a small stir to mix. Garnish with a slice of orange. This can also work with a ginger ale, swap out the soda for Fever-Tree Ginger Ale.

Sibling Original Gin (Mini) 5cl

Sibling Original Gin The story behind the Sibling distillery starts (perhaps unsurprisingly) with four siblings. Felix, Clarice, Cicely and Digby had all grown up with their parents, who run a microbrewery. Experiencing their hard-work and dedication to producing real craft ales inspired something in them. After a short period making and selling Sloe Gin on a farmer’s market, they decided that they were going to direct their youthful enthusiasm and creative ideas into their own gin(s). After much trial and error, and the purchasing of a new type of vapour still. This still allows for small batches to be made, ensuring fresh botanicals with each distillation. It also ensures a delicate infusion of the botanicals, allowing light and fresh flavours to be infused into their gin. Unlike many distillers, they also create their own alcohol base. This allows them to ensure a base which is exceptionally pure. This, their original Triple Distilled Gin was the first gin they produced. Since launching it has become renowned for its modern and distinctly fresh flavour profile. As a gin it has a juniper lead, but this is lighter than usually found (although still definitely present). A delicate hint of spice comes through from cubeb berries – which awakens the taste buds. These flavours are then joined by fresh citrus and delicious and distinctive notes of Madagascan vanilla and blueberry. These balance the drink perfectly – helping to deliver a perfectly smooth gin. More from Sibling Distillery Perfect Serve This is a light and fresh gin, and makes a delightfully enticing Gin & Tonic. We recommend serving with Three Cents Tonic Water. Take a large glass filled with ice and add 50ml of the gin. Gently pour over 150 – 200ml of your chosen tonic and stir gently. Garnish with a slice of orange (which pairs perfectly with the vanilla flavours in the gin). If you like something a little different, try with Fentimans Valencian Orange Tonic water. The bitter zesty notes of orange peels offer a slightly different flavour combination which we enjoyed almost as much as the more ‘classic’ Three Cents Tonic Water.

Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin (Mini) 5cl

Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin Created at the edge of a lake, in a small Irish town called Drumshanbo (from where the gin gets it's name). It's here you will find The Shed Distillery. This is a gin which is far from ordinary, they slow-distil their gin using some of natures finest oriental botanicals, along with gunpowder tea. The bottle itself hints at the creativity behind this gin. Showing the Jackalope, a creature of mystery and wonder. It is the mythological progeny of a jackrabbit, and an antelope. Apparently conceived during a lightning storm - the Jackalope appears in Drumshanbo at will.... like a dream. There one minute, gone the next in a flurry of feet and antlers. Drumshanbo is about bringing together previously unrelated things, for the first time - but likely not the last. Seeing possibilities in the unusual. Its for this reason the Jackalope has become the symbol of the remarkable Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin. A whole range of botanicals are used in the creation of this gin, inspired by the travels of PJ Rigney, the Master Distiller. Using juniper, coriander, star anise, orris carrot, chinese lemon, grapefruit, kafir lime and (as the name suggests) gunpowder tea. The gunpowder tea is a green tea which has been slowly dried, and gives a bold, bright and slightly spiced freshness to the gin. The nose on this gin is refreshingly light, and citrus-forward. There is a citrus zest note which blends with herbaceous juniper, as well as a little juniper. On the palate this is a blast! It explodes with flavours, with citrus dominating. Grapefruit really shines through here. Mid palate the juniper and tea come through, along with a bright note from juniper. The gin finishes quieter, slightly sweet with herbal notes. Anise, cardamom are subtle, and lead into meadowsweet - which lends a delicate honey vanilla nuance.  Whilst this has a rather eccentric blend of botanicals, they all work exceptionally well together, and the gin is a very balanced one. Read more about The Shed Distillery Perfect Serve For the Drumshanbo Signature serve, Take a large glass and fill with ice. Add 50ml of Gunpowder Gin, and add 150 - 200ml of a premium neutral tonic. Stir gently and garnish with a wedge of pink grapefruit.
