Brighton Gin Jammy Orange Limited Edition is gemaakt om de 10e verjaardag van Brighton Gin te vieren. Ze maken deze speciale gin met de overgebleven 'naakte' sinaasappels nadat ze zijn geschild en gebruiken de schil als een van de plantaardige ingrediënten om de basis van Brighton Gin te maken. De sinaasappelen worden in plakjes gesneden, gedroogd om de suikers te karameliseren en vervolgens opnieuw gedestilleerd, waardoor een heerlijke marmeladesmaak ontstaat. Dit is geen 'gearomatiseerde' gin, het is beslist een London Dry-stijl met een lange afdronk en een hoger alcoholpercentage van 43% om ervoor te zorgen dat alle citrussmaken tot hun recht komen. Meer van Brighton Gin Perfect Serve Heerlijk in een G&T. Voeg ijs toe aan een glas en voeg 50 ml Brighton Gin Jammy Orange toe en vul aan met 150-200 ml tonic. Wij vinden het lekker met Franklins tonic (regular of light) en met een schijfje sinaasappel. Als je een extra citrusuitbarsting wilt, meng dan met Franklins Sicilian lemon tonic water. Voor de cocktailliefhebbers is Brighton Gin Jammy Orange perfect in een negroni. Voeg gelijke delen (we raden 30 ml aan) Brighton Gin, Campari en Martini Rosso toe aan een mengglas met ijs en roer tot het gekoeld is. Zeef het in een rockglas met een groot ijsblokje en garneer met sinaasappelschil.

If you prefer a herbaceously and fragrant cocktail, then a Basil Smash is perfect (and not so hard to make). Activate the basil (8 leaves), by giving it a slap in your hands, then place in a cocktail shaker and use a muddler to bash them up a bit. Add 60ml Brighton Gin Pavilion Strength, 25ml fresh lime juice and 15ml sugar syrup. Add ice and shake, shake, shake for about 15 seconds. Double strain into a cocktail glass and garnish with a basil leaf. If you like a longer drink, pour into a highball glass and top up with soda water.

Als je van een cocktail houdt, is deze navy strength gin perfect voor een Red Snapper (het gin-equivalent van een Bloody Mary). Voeg ijs toe aan een cocktailshaker en voeg 50 ml Brighton Gin Seaside Strength, 50 ml extra droge vermout, 25 ml vers citroensap, 25 ml vers sinaasappelsap, 200 ml premium tomatensap en 1/2 theelepel selderijzout toe. een groot glas, voeg een druppel of 2 Worcestershire-saus en/of tabasco naar smaak toe en garneer met een takje peterselie en een stukje bleekselderij. Als je een vleeseter bent, kun je ook een plakje knapperig spek toevoegen.

Whilst juniper is definitely front-and-centre with this gin, there is a delicious zesty citrus burst. Candied oranges, pine and a touch of spice also come through. The gin is deliciously rich and creamy - coating the mouth perfectly imparting the flavours. The citrus notes follow through to the end, imparting a seaside freshness. More from Brighton Gin Perfect Serve The distillers believe this to be a true sipping gin, and as such is best served neat over a cube or two of ice. For a more classic G&T, take a large glass and fill with ice. Add 50ml of Seaside Strength gin and pour over 150ml-200ml of premium tonic (we love this with Fentimans Connoisseurs tonic). Stir gently and garnish with a slice of lime. If you like a cocktail, this navy strength gin is perfect for a Red Snapper (the gin equivalent of a Bloody Mary). Add ice to a cocktail shaker and add 50ml Brighton Gin Seaside Strength, 50ml extra dry vermouth, 25ml fresh lemon juice, 25ml fresh orange juice, 200ml premium tomato juice, and 1/2 teaspoon celery salt, Shake, shake, shake and strain into a tall glass, add a drop or 2 of Worcestershire sauce and/or tabasco to taste, and garnish with a sprig of parsley and a stick of celery. If you are a meat eater, you can also add a rasher of crisp bacon.
