GUBI Cobra Table Lamp (Black Semi Matt)

The authentic Cobra Table Lamp is of the most iconic designs by Greta M. Grossman. The table lamp was originally designed in the 1950s and takes its name from the shape of the oval shade, which is reminiscent of a cobra's neck. Due to its groundbreaking design, the Cobra Table Lamp won the Good Design Award in the same decade and was subsequently exhibited at the Good Design Show at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York. The Cobra Table Lamp is a classic and yet unique lamp that with its tubular flexible arm can be bent in all directions, allowing the shade to be rotated through 360º. This creates a wide range of lighting options for either the work desk or a soft light in the living room.

GUBI G-10 Pendant (Brass, Black Rough)

Designed in the 1950s by Greta M. Grossman, the G-10 Pendant is another of her undiscovered designs. The pendant is characterised by its industrial look with a rough-surfaced lampshade and clean lines, but at the same time holds a soft, feminine and elegant silhouette - which to some draw associations to a woman’s hat that adorned the streets in the ’50s. Always with a twist of humour, Grossman’s design encourages for playful and experimental installations in pairs or clusters. However, the pendant looks great as a single feature over a dining table as well. The G-10 lamp was produced, as many of Grossman's other work, in both America and her native Sweden, where this collection draws its features after the Swedish version. The lamp was Greta M. Grossman's 10th product for the Swedish manufacturer Bergboms, therefore the name G-10.

With its distinctive style and inspiration taken from Corsini's iconic PD2 Floor Lamp, the H2O light brings life and character to any interior space. Barba Corsini was in 1955 assigned to remodel the attics of the prominent Antoni Gaudí landmark La Pedrera. Used as a laundry room and a storage area, Corsini transformed the space into 13 modern apartments. To complete the architectural experience, Corsini specifically designed and decorated the apartments with his own designs, inspired by the characteristic appearance of the building. In 1991, it was decided that the loft space of La Pedrera should be restored according to the original conception of Gaudí. The interior made by Corsini was torn down and most of it thrown away. During the renovation, the architect and gallerist, Joaquim Ruiz Millet, discovered the PD2 Floor Lamp and saved it from being thrown in the trash. Ruiz Millet started to collaborate with Corsini and his designs, and recreated the original pieces, specifically in order to support rescuing his work, make it more known and available for the public.

Barba Corsini's modern and classic design philosophy is echoed in the architectural H2O Table Lamp, designed by Corsini together with Joaquim Ruiz Millet. With its distinctive style and inspiration taken from Corsini's iconic PD2 Floor Lamp, the H2O light brings life and character to any interior space. Barba Corsini was in 1955 assigned to remodel the attics of the prominent Antoni Gaudí landmark La Pedrera. Used as a laundry room and a storage area, Corsini transformed the space into 13 modern apartments.
