Hiram Green Shangri La Eau de Parfum is a unisex chypre perfume. Originally introduced in 2014 as a follow-up to the debut fragrance Moon Bloom, production stopped in 2018 and customers have been asking for it to be brought back ever since. Like all the fragrances in its collection, Shangri La is a completely natural Eau de Parfum. The fragrance was inspired by and named after the fictional land described in James Hilton's 1933 novel Lost Horizon: a mythical Himalayan utopia, an earthly paradise isolated from the rest of the world where people are almost immortal. Hiram has translated the beauty and purity of Shangri La into a contemporary interpretation of a classic chypre perfume, characterized by the contrast between a fresh citrus accord and a woody, oakmoss base. Shangri La Eau de Parfum is a bright and airy perfume, with a lush and exotic character. The fragrance opens with a strong explosion of lemon, orange and bergamot, followed by a rich bouquet of peach, jasmine, orris, rose, cinnamon and warm spices. This opulent heart is anchored by an earthy base of vetiver and oakmoss.
