X-Blades is a 3D action game in which the main character is observed from a third person perspective. Proper fun in many ways resembles the gameplay model known from the Devil May Cry series . X-Blades initially debuted only on personal computers, and only later it was decided to release console editions.StoryDuring the game, the player takes on the role of a tempting heroine named Ayumi. The girl sets out in search of valuable artifacts, thanks to which it will be possible to break the curse and defeat the forces of darkness. The plot of the game is non-linear, as a result of which the decisions made bring the main character closer to one of the two possible endings (taking the side of good or evil). There are about forty stages in total, taking place both inside and outside buildings. As a curiosity, it is worth adding that many treasures are hidden on each board.GameplayThe actual gameplay is based almost entirely on the necessity to exterminate the hordes of demons located in the area. The main character uses two powerful swords to defeat her enemies. Interestingly, these items, thanks to their unique functions, can also be used as firearms. As a result, they are equally effective in close combat and when trying to attack from a distance. In addition, Ayumi can use various spells to eliminate demons (fireballs, electric shock, etc.). As the game develops, the main character gains experience points. By advancing to higher levels, you gain access to new skills, combat techniques and weapon upgrades.
