In terms of gameplay style, it combines elements of the RTS genre and turn-based development based on the 4X principle: expansion, exploitation, exploration and extermination. We play the role of Dante Johnson. He was entrusted with control of three colonies: Achilles, Naxos and San Sterling. In order to defend them, we have several spaceships at our disposal. Our main goal is to ensure the dominant role of the human race in the space inhabited by alien civilizations. During the game, we spend time trading with other colonies, developing various technologies, negotiating with enemies, and ultimately fighting them. In this case, we control all our units, and the clashes take place in real time. Along with the performance of subsequent tasks, we gain higher and higher military ranks. By receiving a promotion, we get access to more and more ships, and we also unlock new areas of space. The highest status of the Grand Admiral reveals the entire map. Regardless of the decisions we make and the pace of the game, enemy races are not idle. If we focus too long on completing the missions in the tutorial, it may turn out that in the meantime, alien civilizations have taken over the most important territories and it will be much more difficult for us to regain them. Likewise, fast expansion gives you hope to dominate space in front of your opponents. The graphics of the game Imperium Galactica varies significantly depending on the scale on which we manage the empire. By controlling the bases from the macro level, we see a simple map of the galaxy with the location of the celestial bodies marked.
