From 600 to 628 AD, the Byzantines were locked in a titanic struggle for survival against the aggressive Sassanid Persian Empire, from which they eventually emerged victorious. Story Field of Glory: Empires takes us on a journey to ancient Europe inhabited by various tribes and nations that developed diametrically different cultures. As we play, we follow and shape the fate of the continent from 310 BC to 190 AD. Gameplay The gameplay in Field of Glory: Empires takes place on the vast map divided into regions over a thousand. During the game, we mainly deal with the gradual shifting of the borders of our empire and the conquest of new areas. In order to strengthen our army and ensure the prosperity of citizens, as well as to ensure the economic and cultural background of the country, we erect various buildings in our territories, adjust the details of the functioning of individual territories and form provinces (which helps control the country), and create trade routes. An important role in this production is played by tactical battles fought in turn-based mode , on maps covered with square fields.
