Former robber Michael, who is in witness protection, lives a quiet life until the day he finds his wife cheating with a tennis instructor. In anger, he destroys his lover's villa, but it turns out that it was the property of one of the drug lords. Michael has no choice but to return to his old profession by invading a jewelry store. The break-in, however, draws the attention of his former partner, Trevor Philips, who finds him and urges him to cooperate again. Both heroes are joined by a boy from the ghetto, Franklin, who wants to quickly earn a lot of money.
