Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden Deluxe Edition Steam CD Key
Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden is a game developed by The Bearded Ladies studio, which in 2010 released Landit Bandit - a production that allows you to sit at the controls of a prototype Leonardo da Vinci helicopter. The new design uses the Mutant brand , which debuted in 1984 in a tabletop role-playing game developed by Target Games. Currently, IP belongs to Cabinet Group, while the rights to interactive productions signed with it are held by Heroic Signatures. Its co-owner is FunCom, the publisher of Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden . Story Action Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden takes place in a post-apocalyptic world. The economic crisis, climate change and relentless tensions between the great powers eventually led to a nuclear war that changed the face of the Earth forever. Almost all of humanity was extinct, and animals and mutants took over the power over the planet . The players manage a group of original individuals - including the mean talking Dux Duck and the ever-angry Bormin boar - looking for the mythical Eden. Gameplay Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden is a strategic tactical game with a turn-based combat system (based on the reboot of the XCOM series from 2012), also containing an admixture of stealth and RPG. The struggle is observed in isometric projection, and you can freely rotate the camera to see the whole area carefully. Traveling around the location takes place in real time. After noticing the enemies, we start to sneak up to enter the enemy base unnoticed or to take the right positions to start the attack. The game allows you to choose the moment when you want to go to the turn-based combat system and attack your opponents by surprise. In subsequent rounds of clashes, players move, use the elements of the environment, e.g. hiding behind walls (they can be destroyed, so you have to be careful), and of course attack using weapons (e.g. rifles or Molotov cocktails) and unique abilities of the heroes, e.g. Selma's stone skin or Bormin's charge. A unique feature of Mutant Year Zero is that in order to renew each of the active skills, we have to kill a certain number of enemies . Therefore, teammates cannot use them all the time if they play too defensively. The bestiary in Mutant Year Zero is highly varied. The team mainly encounters various types of ghouls against which special skills are effective (e.g. charges, energy attacks or mind control). Hostile robots and giant mechs can also appear in skirmishes, eliminating them with specific abilities (e.g. sabotaging the bot's work) and EMP grenades. Game modes Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden offers a single player mode only . The locations related to the main storyline are visited in a predetermined order and, unlike the XCOM series , there is no randomness in terms of their appearance or types of enemies. The game, however, includes optional locations and additional tasks that can be undertaken to gain experience and unique treasures. A single campaign completion should take approximately 15-20 hours. However, Mutant Year Zero encourages you to replay it, offering higher difficulty levels and a special Iron Mutant mode, in which you cannot save the game manually and where the death of each of your companions is irreversible.
