Alicja has many types of weapons at her disposal, including a kitchen knife and deadly cards. The expedition is accompanied by characters known from the Wonderland stories. The game is divided between overcoming typical platform stages and fragments in which the player focuses strictly on combat. The game also features simple logical puzzles, present in the first part (e.g. an attempt to find the passage among the countless number of doors). Well-known lands have also returned - the castle of the Queen of Hearts, the Valley of Tears, or the Fortress of Doors.
