So the heroine and her mechanical guardian set off on a journey that will lead her through strange places full of equally bizarre robots and people. Unlike many cyberpunk productions, Encodya approaches the subject with a pinch of salt. The game draws clear inspiration from Monkey Island and the works of Ghibli studio, thus giving up the nihilism and cynicism typical of this setting for a lighter but moving story.
