Gift of Parthax is the first game from Foldergeist Studios from Denmark. The company was founded by a few students who created a simple production called Battle Mages in six weeks . Later it evolved into the described commercial version, incl. with the support of the publisher 1C Company.GameplayGift of Parthax is a two-dimensional top-down production , i.e. a game in which the action is observed from a camera placed above a small board. The players take on the role of the magician Arif, who wants to save his friend. To do this, he must become extremely powerful, which he can only do by fighting in the arena. Our task is to survive a series of skirmishes with the overwhelming enemy forces. The area of ​​operations is very small, so during the fight we have to be on the move all the time and avoid opponents and their attacks, while casting spells ourselves , e.g. a small thunderstorm or sharp stones. We gain new attacks during the adventure by completing specific tasks. However, before the next skirmishes, we select and modify spells. Runes help us in combat, i.e. special artifacts, thanks to which we can, for example, turn an enemy into a chicken. During the fight, we must also remember to use healing and mana-replenishing drinks.

Renoir is an atmospheric platform game with logical elements, drawing on the style of classic film noir. The title is the debut of the independent Czech studio Soulbound Games, founded in 2013. The production of the game was supported by a campaign on the Kickstarter website. Gameplay In the game, we play the role of an experienced detective James Renoir, who has to solve his last case. In the course of the investigation, our hero will have to face not only a city steeped in fear, corruption and crime, but also difficult events from his earlier life. As the game progresses and the pieces of the puzzle are combined, Renoir will uncover a number of the city's carefully hidden secrets and finally come to terms with his dark past. The gameplay combines elements of a classic platformer and a detective adventure game, and while exploring new atmospheric locations, players can expect both dexterity and simple logic puzzles. Despite the use of the advanced Unreal Engine 4, the developers opted for a side view typical for platform games.
