Javana marker for light fabrics rose

This fabric paint pen is water-based and suitable for drawing on light-toned cotton, linen, silk, and textile blends with up to 20% synthetic fibres. Use your marker on already finished projects, or decorate them as you sew. This textile marker has a stroke width of 2-4 mm, making it especially suitable for decorative projects, upcycling or labelling children's clothing, and more. We recommend placing a plastic sheet between your fabric layers, to prevent the dye from staining the underlying layers. The marker is ready for use – remove the cap, and you're good to go. After use, we recommend leaving your project to dry for at least six hours, before heat-fixing it with an iron. Cover your project, i.e. with a tea towel or another cloth, to protect it during fixation. Your project is now washable at up to 60°C - please wash inside out. Fabric markers are best stored horizontally. The fabric marker is not suitable for children under three years of age.

A Bit About the Practicalities This fabric is made of 92% organic cotton and 8% elastane. It has a width of 150 cm, and of course, you decide the length you wish to order. That means it's perfect for lining a jacket or a nice, fluffy vest, for example. This is how easy it is to make a fleece blanketChoose the colour and cut the blanket to the exact size you want and voila: you have a new fleece blanket. It doesn't get any easier than this. And yes - it's good enough - you don't need to sew the edges; the material won't run. If you want to give your rug a nice finish with a sewn edge, we recommend using jersey needles, which are specially developed for qualities like this. They penetrate the fabric easily without leaving holes. Or how about making a reversible blanket or vest with two different colours of fleece - double up on warmth, softness and use. Fleece dries quickly, is robust and durable and therefore very easy to bring along, for example as extra blankets in the caravan. Practical information about polar fleeceThe fabric is 145 cm wide and you buy it by the metre, so you get the length you need. It's easy to throw in the washing machine at 40° max and is quick-drying, but can also be tumble-dried at a low temperature if you need it faster. Be aware that it shrinks about 3% in the wash, so it's a good idea to wash the fabric before starting your project.
