Patch for repair nylon 10x20cm navy

Prolong the useful lifetime of your clothes with a self-adhesive nylon patchHave you torn a hole in a jacket or other item of clothing? Then this self-adhesive nylon patch is the easy way to give your clothes a new lease of life.Repair holes and tears in outerwear, etc.This patch is made of 100% nylon. It measures 10 x 20 cm. It has a self-adhesive backing and is good for repairing holes or tears. Use it, for example, to repair rainwear, a jacket, trousers, ski suit, snowsuit and other waterproof clothing – and in places you find it difficult to get to sew. How do I attach the nylon patch?Make sure that the damaged fabric is clean, dry and smooth.Instructions:Trim the nylon patch to the desired size. We recommend that you cut the patch several centimetres larger than the hole. Don’t forget to round the corners.Remove the protective foil and press the patch firmly in place.Cover the patch with a cloth and press with an iron for about 10 seconds at the lowest temperature setting (on the right and wrong side). Pressing the patch fixes the adhesive so the patch better can withstand washing.NB: If the fabric is not suitable for ironing, use a hair dryer to heat the patch and fix the adhesive.

The fabric drapes beautifully on the body and can be styled both elegantly and casually. Practical InformationThis fabric is made up of 70% wool, 25% polyamide and 5% other fibres. It is 145 cm wide and you can choose the number of metres you need for your project. Wash the wool at 30° and expect it to shrink about 3% in the wash. Remember to use the right needles - we recommend using universal needles when sewing with woven wool, and you may want to go up in stitch length for a more finished look. Micro fleece navy

Fleece is not just fleeceWith micro fleece you have the very fine fleece quality. The one where the structure is soft, dense and smooth. It opens up a range of exciting DIY possibilities from clothing to home decor. What should I use micro fleece for?With micro fleece, you can dial down the classic fleece look without having to compromise on all of the familiar qualities: the fabric is still soft, lightweight and stretchy. It insulates well and has been given an anti-pilling treatment meaning that it's virtually lint-free. Furthermore it's tough and dries quickly. Use the fabric for a comfy fleece jacket or vest, for example, where the heat-insulating effect really comes in handy on cold days. Or make a cool loungewear set in your favourite colour. You can also use micro fleece in furnishings for blankets (where you don't even need to sew on a border) and cushions. Please remember to use jersey needles (item no. 46799 or 46028) when sewing in fleece. Practical information about fleeceThe fabric is 145 cm wide and you buy it by the metre, so you get the length you need. You can wash this fleece at 40° and tumble dry at low heat. Be aware that it shrinks about 3% in the wash, so it's a good idea to wash the fabric before starting your project.

In short, it's a look that never goes out of fashion and is perfect for children, young people and adults alike. That said, you naturally calf's wool is usable for all sorts of other things. The material is long lasting and water-repellent, making it ideal for outerwear. For example, have you considered a short jacket - perhaps with a zip - or a roomy poncho that's easy to pull over your head and cosy to snuggle up in? We also use the wool for shirts with pockets, where the heavy felted quality gives the shirt a pretty cool look. Homespun - what is it?Homespun is a lightweight twill woven wool that has been processed with water, soap, heat and beating, then scratched up to give you a dense structure that is virtually windproof and waterproof. Originally, wadding was made from pure wool and used, for example, for work wear. Today, it is often a blended product to ensure the best possible quality. Practical InformationThis fabric is made up of 65% wool, 25% nylon and 10% polyester. It is 145 cm wide and you can choose the number of metres you need for your project. Please note that this wool is not washable. Remember to use the right needles - we recommend using universal needles when sewing with this wool. Polar fleece navy

The loveliest projects in fleeceFind your favourite colour and start creating your new project! Polar fleece is light, soft and stretchy - a great material that also insulates. That means it's perfect for lining a jacket or a nice, fluffy vest, for example. This is how easy it is to make a fleece blanketChoose the colour and cut the blanket to the exact size you want and voila: you have a new fleece blanket. It doesn't get any easier than this. And yes - it's good enough - you don't need to sew the edges; the material won't run. If you want to give your rug a nice finish with a sewn edge, we recommend using jersey needles, which are specially developed for qualities like this. They penetrate the fabric easily without leaving holes. Or how about making a reversible blanket or vest with two different colours of fleece - double up on warmth, softness and use.
