Vesda Xtralis F-PC-3 Standard-Clip for ASD Pipework 3.0mm - Pack of 5

Vesda Xtralis F-PC-3 Standard-Clip for ASD Pipework 3.0mm - Pack of 5

Vesda Xtralis F-PC-3 Standard-Clip for ASD Pipework 3.0mm - Pack of 5A standard-clip for aspirating holes in the colour orange. 3.0mmWhen installing an Aspirating Smoke Detection ASD system it is often almost impossible to identify the exact location of sampling point and more importantly identify if the sampling hole is the correct size creating unnecessary delays. The VESDA Sampling Hole Clip delivers reliable and accurate sampling hole sizes that are fast to install and easy to locate and identify. Each clip is colour-coded to indicate a specific hole diameter providing an instant visual guide and removing the need for closer inspection. This is particularly beneficial during commissioning and maintenance processes in applications like warehouses or large open spaces. The greatly simplified installation process helps deliver greater reliability in the correct setting of sampling hole size and a faster installation process. A 10mm 2764 diameter drill bit is all that is required by an installer to create each sampling hole rather than many different drill sizes to which the Sampling Hole Clip attaches to.This can help deliver quality installation in projects where installation is sub contracted or the installer is not familiar with the impact of sampling hole size. Use of a chamfered hole entry in the sampling hole clip design can help to reduce dust loading effects.Without using this type of technology a build-up of dust around a standard drilled sampling hole is likely to occur due to the friction created by the airflow through the sampling hole. By reducing dust loading effects and leveraging the additional protection provided by the pipe clips sites can help increase system uptime and potentially extend service and testing intervals.Unlike most contemporary solutions the pipe clip is installation-ready with no need for assembly any additional parts or tools clips are provided as a single ready-to-fit piece. The pipe clips are also available in two formats Standard and Harsh Environment. Harsh Environment Clip variants feature a flexi-lip design that changes its shape when subjected to compressed air. This helps any ice fibre or dust build-up on the supporting rubber structure be easily detached and broken up by the air Jetstream out of the clip hole providing additional protection in challenging locations like freezer applications.Key FeaturesPre-engineered sampling holes for faster more efficient commissioning and installationInstallation-ready design with no part assembly or tools required simply clicks into place for a firm non-slip positionVisual colour-coded guide to sampling point location and sampling hole sizeGreatly simplifies sampling hole drilling a single 10mm drill bit for all holes simply fit the relevant clip to set the hole sizeReduces dust loading effects through inclusion of a chamfered hole entry design helping to increase uptime and potentially extends test intervalsTwo formats available Standard and Harsh EnvironmentHarsh Environment Clip variants feature a flexi-lip design to help reduce sampling hole contamination under high air pressure

Vesda VSP-005 VLP VLS VLC amp VLF Filter

Vesda VSP-005 VLP VLS VLC VLF FilterThe VESDA replacement filter cartridge is used to replace filter cartridges in VESDA LaserCOMPACT LaserFOCUS LaserPLUS and LaserSCANNER detectors. One model fits all detectors.Importance of Changing the FilterThe filters used in VESDA detectors are key to the performance of the detector. VESDA filers remove dust contamination from the sampled air providing a clean air bleed to preserve the optics in the detection chamber. Like any other filter filters in VESDA detectors must be replaced regularly to ensure optimum efficiency. It is recommended that the filter is replaced in the VESDA VLC VLS VLP and VLF every two years to maintain the operational integrity of the detector you may want to consider replacing the filter more frequently if the detector is used in dusty or dirty conditions. Instructions on how to do this can be found in the replacement instructions in the download section below.Replacing the FilterBefore replacing the filter in your detector it may be necessary to advise any monitoring authorities that the detector may be offline for a short period.Ensure that the area surrounding the filter is clear of dirt and debris and remove the filter. Do not attempt to clean and reuse the filter VESDA filters are intended for single-use only. Once the new filter has been inserted the detector needs to be informed that a new filter has been installed.Key FeaturesEasy swap replacement filterFits VLC VLF VLP and VLS VESDA detectorsAvailable singly or in packs of 2090 mm x 63 mm x 30 mm 3.5 in. x 2.5 in. x 1.2 in.

Vesda Xtralis OSE-SP-01 OSID-DE Emitter Alkaline Battery

Vesda Xtralis OSE-SP-01 OSID-DE Emitter Alkaline Battery

Vesda Xtralis OSE-SP-01 OSID-DE Emitter Alkaline BatteryEach emitter up to 7 generates 2 light beams in the UV and IR frequencies. These bundles are also encoded through a unique code recognized by the receiver. This approach allows the receiver to ignore any UV and IR light beams that come from sources other than emitters the typical interference problems generated by sunlight are thus overcome.Battery powered emitters last for 3 years.Emitter Size 208 mm x 136 mm x 96 mm. Certificate 3052011 EU - CPR.Open-area Smoke Imaging Detection OSID by Xtralis is a new innovation in projected beam smoke detection technology. By using advanced dual wavelength projected beams and optical imaging technology for early warning smoke detection OSID provides a cost-effective reliable and easy-to-install solution that overcomes typical beam detection issues such as false alarm incidents and alignment difficulties. In its simplest configuration OSID by Xtralis uses one imager a camera-like device with a wide field of view and a wired or battery-powered emitter roughly aligned on the opposite wall within the protected area. The emitter sends both infrared and ultraviolet coded light signals to the imager. If the light reception is altered due to the presence of genuine smoke particles the imager will go into alarm. The novel use of dual light frequencies in an open-path device enables OSID to discriminate between real smoke and other objects including insects steam condensation and dust thus drastically reducing false alarms.Key FeaturesPatented dual wavelength UV IR particle detectionCMOS imager with wide viewing anglesSimple installation commissioning and maintenanceHigh tolerance to vibration and structural movementHigh resistance to dust fogging steam reflections and object intrusionHigh resistance to reflected sunlightOn-board log memorySoftware tool for diagnostic purposesAesthetically discreet and 3D coverageLong range up to 150 m 492 ft. with minimal free space dia. 15 cm 5.85 inchApplicationsOSID is ideal for use in a wide range of industries and applications.
