3M Scotchfil Electrical Insulation Putty is a soft, pliable, self-fusing electrical putty designed for insulating low-voltage connections up to 600 V. Ideal for applications requiring quick, customised coverage, it can be easily moulded, stretched, or wrapped around irregular shapes to build up insulation smoothly. Once applied, it should be overwrapped with vinyl electrical tape (such as 3M Super 33+ or Super 88) to achieve a UL-recognised insulated joint. With a temperature rating of up to 80C, it provides reliable performance in a wide range of general electrical maintenance and repair applications.
