Why « sons of Man » and not « sons of Men »? Because the phrase « sons of men » designates human race in its natural state. Those who attach themselves to the man-God Christ take on his inheritance as a Son of Man, that is, a Son of God. What does this mean? It means that any man or woman on their way to the divine fulfilment exemplified by Christ takes a path which leads them to exit the human race and enter the life prepared by God for them - just like a foetus exits its uterine existence..
