Mollie Jacket is a loose fit jacket with 3/4 sleeves and pockets at front. The jacket is made in cotton canvas and is beautifully decorated with our own delicate Suzani embroidery. All inside seams have been covered with cotton tapes. The jacket comes with a detachable belt for a more feminine shape.This Suzani embroidered item is decorated with the manually controlled chain stitch technique of Suzani embroidery. Our Suzani embroidery is made by Indian artisans, mostly using the tambour to create a unique and vivid Suzani embroidery pattern. The name “Suzani” comes from the Persian word "su-zan", meaning needle. The Indian artisans use a hooked needle instrument called a tambour to create the intricate chain stitching that is the hallmark of Suzani embroidery.
