The Race-Tech was the first exhaust made rhomboid, which in time replaced the "old style" systems of cylindrical or elliptical. The innovative profile rhomboid equal sectional area allows you to save space compared to traditional forms, with a significant weight reduction without compromising the internal volume and therefore the ability to reduce the noise without compromising performance. Inner parts of the silencers are made with stainless steel assembly by TIG welding performed on special welding jigs. The profile of the passage section of the gas is strictly controlled, to optimize the flow of exhaust gases. Important feature are the rear endcaps and the gas outlet: these components are designed in such a way as to optimize the flow of the exit gas to minimize the drawbacks of the backpressure. For some bikes, the titanium is also available with the new rear endcap in carbon. All Arrow silencers approved EU have the inside (dB killer) removed for regeneration and cleaning. The removal of the interior (dB killer) transforms the silencer from approved racing, resulting in better performance, but jeopardizing compliance approval. Arrow Maxi Race-Tech muffler 71809 have been designed to match the need of a bigger volume silencer, to be used on bigger bikes, single and twin cylinders engines and when power and noise requirements are stiffer than usual. The larger volume is also useful for the construction of exhausts for big bikes single exhaust, generally more demanding with regard to the reduction of noise. The advanced profile (looks like a diamond, with smooth corners) makes it possible to reduce dimensions with respect to an exhaust with a more traditional shape and with an equivalent section surface. This feature is important in reducing weight and dimensions, increasing the internal volume with excellent advantages in noise damping and high performance. Internal structure is generally made in stainless steel, TIG welding.
