Designer: Louis Weisdorf Concept : The Multi-Lite The floor lamp was first designed in 1972 by Louis Weisdorf . The lamp pays homage to the Danish Golden Age with its characteristic shape. The base of the lamp consists of two cylinder shapes, where the metal ring around creates a rotation point for the two outer mobile shades. These two shades can be rotated and give the lamp several kinds of combinations and expression. By rotating the two shades, the Multi-Lite The floor lamp can emit different kinds of light; directly upwards, downwards or an asymmetrical artistic light. The GUBI Multi-Lite The floor lamp therefore fits perfectly into the living room or office, as it provides a light according to your wishes. The floor lamp is available in four different colors - Brass & Black, pure Brass, pure Chrome and Chrome & White. .

The Multi-Lite lamp design is created in 1972 by the Danish architect Louis Weisdorf with the aim of reflecting his passion for diversity. Due to its unique design, the two opposing outside shades can individually be rotated and transformed into multiple combinations and encourage for personal installations and expressions whenever desired. Always with Weisdorf’s design philosophy in mind, the light can be directed upwards, downwards or exude an asymmetric art light without exposing the light source. Two cylindrical shapes lay the foundation of the lamp and a metal ring encompasses it and anchors the two quarter-spherical shades, which ultimately completes a picture of an iconic design with multiple purposes.
