Men of War: Assault Squad 2 Deluxe Edition Steam Account
Men of War: Assault Squad 2 is a continuation of the second standalone expansion to Men of War, a war RTS set in the realities of World War II. Sequel was developed by two studios responsible for the previous installments of this strategic series, i.e. Best Way (Soldiers, Faces of War) and Digitalmindsoft (Men of War: Assault Squad, Call to Arms).
The action of the title takes place during the Second World War in various areas of Europe, including the eastern part, as well as in North Africa and the Pacific islands. The player chooses between five countries, such as the US or the Soviet Union, and takes part in battles both in the single player campaign and in the multiplayer mode. Single player focuses mainly on missions created in the form of skirmishes (so-called skirmish), while network modules have been properly developed. It is possible to take part in 1 vs 1, 2 vs 2 and 4 vs 4 fights, as well as in huge battles in which sixteen people are faced (8 vs 8).
Like the previous installments of the series, the game emphasizes realism, and the gameplay requires focus and dynamic use of various tactics. Thus, production forces the recipient to take care of their own units so that they are not sent to certain death. To further raise the bar, the creators improved the artificial intelligence of the opponents, making the clashes with the computer even more demanding. These solutions go hand in hand with changes that make fun easier, such as improving the interface or handling the inventory of units.
The game runs on the significantly improved GEM 2 engine. Old models have been replaced with new ones, the quality of textures has been improved and new graphic effects have been added. In addition, Men of War: Assault Squad 2 uses multi-core processors, which translates into higher performance, and supports modern technologies, incl. Shader Model.
