Q.U.B.E. is a puzzle game created by three students from the University of Newport in Wales. It was initially part of their internship project, but was released on digital distribution platforms with the support of the India Fund - a fund dedicated to supporting independent creators. Story The action of the game takes place in an undefined, sterile environment, made mainly of monochrome cubes. The game has no plot. Its protagonist is a nameless character equipped with two gloves with which he can manipulate different colored cubes, placed on individual levels, called "sectors". Thanks to the use of specific properties of these objects (e.g. repulsion, attraction, etc.), we overcome successive boards. As you progress, the puzzles you face become more and more difficult and complex, and they make use of more complex physical models. The controls, however, remain simple throughout the game - one of the gloves activates the colored cubes, the other deactivates them. Gameplay Graphic design Q.U.B.E. was created using the free Unreal Development Kit provided by Epic Games. Although it is simple and economical, it takes full advantage of the Unreal Engine 3's capabilities. Overcoming successive sectors is accompanied by atmospheric, ambient music. In total, the game provides about an hour and a half of fun, in a style similar to such productions as Valve's Portal. The developers approached this element of the game with great attention - they hired, among others, a true story expert in RPG games, Chris Avellone (including Planescape Torment, Fallout: New Vegas or Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II). In Dying Light 2 we explore a vast city occupied by hordes of zombies, as well as groups of often much more dangerous people. The world is four times larger than the one known from the first part. Like its predecessor, the production has an extensive melee combat system, allowing, among others, dismembering enemies (we can also shoot, but the use of melee weapons is the basis of the game), and complex crafting mechanics - you can add several dozen different effects to the weapon you create. This title also has a rich parkour-style movement, which depends on our hero's stamina bar (all actions require it - even simply sticking to the edge of the roof). In the "two" there are twice as many animations related to jumping, running and other breakneck manoeuvres. The creators also took care of environmental puzzles based on acrobatics, requiring proper route planning. Dying Light 2 features a day/night cycle that affects the behaviour and strength of enemies - zombies become much more dangerous after sunset, so check your watch and be careful when exploring the city. In addition, Techland studio placed great emphasis on making the player's choices and actions affect the state of the game world. The developers also improved the AI of the opponents, who can now change the fighting style during the fight. In Dying Light 2 we can play alone or in the company of other players. The biggest attraction of the game is the cooperative mode for up to four people. There is also a traditional multiplayer based on competition. Dying Light 2 is based on a modernized version of the Chrome Engine, called C-Engine. Thus, the game has a very attractive three-dimensional graphic design - both the city and models of characters or monsters have been prepared with great attention to detail, and the views from the tops of tall buildings can be breathtaking. The realistic shading and lighting systems also make a great impression.

The player has at his disposal mainly general aviation units such as the Cessna 172, acrobatic planes and huge passenger machines with the Boeing 747 at the helm. The authors put emphasis on realism. In relation to the FSX, not only the simulation of individual systems and aircraft flight models has been improved, but also the variability of air masses near mountains or tall buildings has been mapped. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 also introduces such an important novelty as realistic longitudinal slope of runways and various types of surfaces. The game offers special tutorials that guide you step by step through the take-off procedures of individual planes and the subsequent stages of the flight. The degree of realism can be adjusted according to the user's experience. At lower difficulty settings, the plane can be fully controlled from the outside view, with all key flight parameters - these are displayed in the corners of the screen through a simplified interface. The simulator has also been enriched with multi-layer, volumetric clouds, and data on weather conditions is downloaded from the network on an ongoing basis. The game has an impressive graphic design. The machines have been recreated down to the smallest detail, and the locations are dripping with details thanks to the use of photogrammetry and satellite photos taken for the Bing Maps service in their creation. Such solutions have their limitations, which is usually affected by the detail of the map, which is why some of the known airports and objects were modeled by hand. The creators of Microsoft Flight Simulator were also helped in generating scenery by an artificial intelligence developed by Blackshark.ai, which allowed for terrain recognition and filling it with default objects such as trees and buildings. Huge amounts of data are downloaded on an ongoing basis from the virtual Azure cloud. The game offers support for many controllers: from a mouse and keyboard, through a gamepad, to joysticks and HOTAS sets. Reception The initial reception of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 was positive. The reviewers praised the game’s graphics, attention to detail, and gameplay mechanics. The scale of the faithfully recreated world was also noted as a positive, as was the stable of available machines.
