Cook, Serve, Delicious! is a challenging skill game in which the player's goal is to run and expand the food court. The title was developed by Vertigo Gaming - a small US company specializing in arcade games. In Cook, Serve, Delicious! The player's task is to manage a restaurant and play the role of a cook, cashier and cleaner in one person. The adventure begins in a small catering point, and the meals that can be served to customers are not complicated (e.g. hot dogs, fries). Along with the development of the company, the restaurant takes on a more elegant character, and the choice of dishes and customer requirements increase. The game combines arcade and strategic elements. In the first phase, the player makes strategic decisions - incl. about what meals will be sold the next day or how to improve the restaurant (you can buy various appliances, e.g. a dishwasher). Then comes the workday - the arcade part proper. The player's task is to serve customers in a fast and satisfactory way for them. It boils down to efficiently pressing many keys (each dish has its own combination), and failure results in dissatisfaction of the operated person. The lunch times are particularly demanding, when many customers appear at the same time in the restaurant (initially you can serve four at a time, then this number increases to eight). At the end of the day, the financial results are summarized, and the cash earned is worth using for the further development of the restaurant. The strategic element of the game has been enriched with additional difficulties. Each dish has a number of features (e.g. sweet, with alcohol, smelly, healthy, etc.), the combination of which may attract or scare customers away, so when choosing meals for the menu of the day, you need to pay attention to whether they match each other. Consumers' preferences are also influenced by circumstances such as rainy weather, when the demand for specific types of food increases. There are also many mishaps that the player has to deal with; among them is, among others robbery or quality control. The graphics are kept in a cartoon style and, despite its simplicity, it looks nice. An interesting solution is the ability to receive e-mails - between important lists (e.g. about the upcoming inspection) there is a lot of funny spam that was created by the fans of the game for the producer.

Cook, Serve, Delicious! 2 !! is the second part of a fast-paced arcade game with economic elements, in which the player takes on the role of the manager of the title restaurant. The small American studio Vertigo Gaming is responsible for the production. Story At the beginning of the game, the unaware hero gets into the elevator of the SherriSoda Tower. He is lazily thinking about his duties as the main manager and owner of the Cook, Serve, Delicious! which in recent years he has promoted up to a platinum star. Suddenly the building is surrounded by the police! It turns out that the corrupt owners of the SherriSoda Tower are involved in countless financial crimes and secretly indebted all the businesses that are part of it! The skyscraper is closed and put up for auction to pay off multi-million debts. An honest CSD business owner lands on the pavement He is furious but determined, and a plan to rebuild his restaurant is already forming in his head. Gameplay During the game, the player takes on the role of the owner of a small restaurant located on the 50th floor of Teragon Supertower. At the beginning of the game, our place looks more like a fast food booth than a real restaurant. Cheap décor and hastily served burgers with fries can, with time, turn into exclusive dishes served with sublime wines on designer tables. It all depends on the fishing line and the quick hand of the manager, cook, cleaner and cashier in one person, i.e. the player. In an average day, we take care of literally everything. Before opening, we set the menu, and during the day, during quick dexterity tasks, we take orders, clean, cook dishes by pressing the appropriate key sequences on the keyboard and give them to customers who always care about time. We allocate the collected revenue to bills and purchase of ingredients, and we invest the surplus in more and more advanced kitchen equipment, restaurant decor and other improvements. Game modes In the main story campaign, the player has about 60 hours of fun. During it, he will slowly improve his place, up to the level of a fine dining restaurant with a platinum star. New in Cook, Serve, Delicious! 2 !! there is a "cook for hire" mode. As an employed external help, we travel to over 25 various dining options in the city, like a kitchen mercenary ready to take on over 400 prepared challenges. For the first time, the local split-screen cooperation mode has been made available, in which we can hire a friend to help. Couch Help can join in or out of play at any time.
