TrackMania 2: Stadium is a racing game that is part of the ManiaPlanet service. The production was developed by the French development studio Nadeo. This project is a development of TrackMania 2: Canyon and closely integrates with the content of this title, but at the same time it is a separate module, not requiring any other items.
The game brings to the TrackMania 2 engine the stadium locations known from the wildly popular TrackMania Nations Forever. The prototype won the sympathy of millions of people, so the creators did not take the risk of introducing any dramatic changes and instead limited themselves mainly to corrections. Among them there is much better visuals that offer a higher level of detail and more advanced lighting effects. TrackMania 2: Stadium also makes use of all the features of the ManiaPlanet website, thanks to which fans have access to the latest social features and an extensive map editor that allows you to import new 3D objects.
The gameplay mechanics remained largely unchanged. TrackMania 2: Stadium offers a highly dexterity driving model that puts efficiency and dizzying speeds over realism. A special feature of the entire series is the unusual nature of the routes, which are very twisted and require effective acrobatics. The game offers both a single player mode and a multiplayer game. At the same time, great emphasis was placed on modding and social tools. Users can create their own routes and share their own creations with the rest of the fans using ManiaPlanet.
